HIGHER TECHNICIAN IN TOURISM ACCOMMODATION MANAGEMENT  

These studies aim to enable future professional staff to organise and control tourism accommodation establishments by applying the current managerial policies, controlling the different department objectives as well as the establishment commercial actions and economic outcomes; presenting the service in the accommodation areas and ensuring customers’ satisfaction.

ACCESS:

Upper secondary school or Generalitat de Catalunya Official Access Exam for candidates over 19 years old.

TEACHING STAFF

Our teaching staff is made up of teachers specialized in the tourist sector as well as managing staff in charge of four star Alimara Hotel; own business for hands-on training in the workplace and for a maximum approach to the real world job experience in the Hospitality sector.

PLAN OF STUDIES

Objectives.

For the first course:Familiarize students with the professional sector through theoretical and practical subjects
Consolidate the necessary concepts in order to acquire an overall vision of the different departments existing in a tourism accommodation establishment.

For the second course: Deal in depth and widen all the theoretical and practical aspects achieved, highlighting organization, coordination, departmental and managerial management both in specific areas of hotel establishments and other tourism accommodation businesses.
