CETT develops tourism research projects with the aim of providing expert knowledge and innovation in tourism in order to allow the sector to keep and improve its competitiveness, by means of applied research and the transfer of knowledge. It also promotes the collaboration in research of the private sector and the tourism administrations, as well as the establishment of joint research agreements with other universities in the international scope.

This cooperative work makes true the new educational methodology of the new European Higher Education Area (EHEA) enhancing teamwork, the participation of other fellows of other centres and institutions devoted to the teaching of Tourism and adapting the hospitality and Tourism knowledge to the new formulas of learning and pedagogy, which today’s studies and research of the tourism matter claim for.
