The UB Chair of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy CETT
The UB Chair of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy CETT is a joint initiative of the CETT Barcelona School of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy, the University of Barcelona, the CETT Foundation, and the Barcelona City Council.
This Chair is pioneering in its structure and subject matter, and its objective is to promote research and knowledge transfer in its fields of action. Through dialogue between the public sector, the private sector, and academia, all this.
The current lines of work of the Chair are:
- Creation of new tourist images in the city of Barcelona.
- Indicators of tourism sustainability in urban destinations
- CETT Smart Tourism Congress Barcelona
- Barcelona, a gastronomic city
Likewise, it is worth mentioning that in the period 2016-2020, the UB Chair of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy CETT will develop the project "Educating City and Responsible Tourism. Heritage as an identity value of a city" around responsible tourism and coexistence in cities.
