Tasques: Purpose:
• To be responsible for executing the Marketing plan
• Maintain effective business relations with both internal and external customers
• To be an ambassador for Jumeirah and Jumeirah Port Soller
• To support Jumeirah Vision in every hotel action

Communication:
Internal
• To undertake weekly 1:1 with Manager
• To be actively involved in departmental meetings to bring marketing support to the operational teams & ensure operational managers are updated with delivery times of their content
• Liaising with internal PR in relation to journalist visits and events, ensuring the details of which are communicated on a timely basis to the operational teams.
• Proactively ensure open communication with the Digital Team in Dubai and brand marketing teams both in Europe and Dubai

External
• To actively communicate with print management & online and offline design agencies on projects, ensuring timely delivery to brief
• Communicate with PR agencies, SEO agencies and other external partners to ensure trackable measures are being used to optimise the profile of the hotels
• Develop key working relationships with all third party suppliers including printers, OTA market managers and advertising outlet

Main Duties:
• Compose and edit online and offline copy for websites, brochures and advertisements including restaurant outlets and The Talise Spa
• Content management of TPIs, working with internal departments to ensure information (text and images) is current and accurate
• Creation and distribution of eNewsletters direct to consumers, including database management
• Assist with implementation of third party promotions, sales, marketing, eCommerce and PR opportunities
• Update Mercury S&M team site in partnership with Sales Coordinator and assist with internal communications through Mercury company pages and hotel staff newsletters
• Produce content for social media channels including blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, as well as identifying emerging channels and working towards an overall digital marketing strategy and brand guidelines
• Coordinate production of collateral including online brochures, printed flyers, gift vouchers and promotional items
• Raise brand awareness at low or no cost through advertisements and networking
• Liaise with external agencies and partners, responding to enquiries and requests for information promptly
• Press relations – media visits, events, compile press kits, media gifts, host site inspections, assist with filming and photographic shoots
• Issue internal communications including advertising alerts, press releases, media visit alerts, internal requirements for package promotions
• Coordinate giveaways, and exhibition and event requirements
• Compile monthly marketing report
• Facilitate and track campaigns through an in-house CRM tool
• Undertake industry research as required (awards, competitors, website, advertising, third party promotions etc)
• Co-manage central filing system and graphics library - photos, slides, digital – ensuring each is named for easy reference
• General administration and office management - diaries/meetings/telephone/travel arrangements

Other duties
• To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times
• To provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times
• To assist in the training of employees ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with the maximum efficiency and in the most productive manner
• To ensure that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated in the Hotel and Department Operations Manuals
• To ensure that the Department's operational budget is strictly adhered to and that all costs are controlled and expenditure approved
• To have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety
• To comply with local legislation and be conversant and act in accordance with any such matters relating to your department
• To respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the industry, company or hotel operation
• To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs
• To attend training and meetings as required
• To contribute to regular departmental communications meetings.
Requisits: Qualifications
Degree or equivalent - essential

Experience
Minimum 1 year marketing experience (essential)
Experience in 5 star hotels

Skills
• Ability to multi-task, managing a range of activities across online and offline avenues
• A comprehensive understanding of the marketing & PR process
• Ability to learn new systems quickly
• Tech savvy with strong attention to detail
• Creative thinker
• Self-starter with high energy levels
•Medium to high level of German
