Course Types and ECTS Credits

The courses of the Bachelor's Degree have been designed taking into account the time that the student needs to complete each of the subjects and using dynamic methodologies based on student participation.

1 ECTS credit = 25 hours of study.

This system makes the recognition of credits in the European context much easier. This also favors students' mobility.

WHAT'S THE COURSE STUCTURE?

CORE COURSES (CC): Core courses are considered the foundation of the studies and are liable to be recognized in case of transfer to a different Degree on the same branch of knowledge.

REQUIRED COURSES (RC): This courses are mandatory for all students and cover specific topics of the sector.

Among the Required Courses, the Practicum (P) and the Undergraduate Senior Capstone Project (SCP) present different regulations in the academic record.

SPECIALIZATION ELECTIVE COURSES (SEC): These are elective courses that students are required to pass in order to get an specialization: either HOTEL MANAGEMENT  or TOURISM MANAGEMENT.

SKILL ENHANCEMENT ELECTIVE COURSES  (SEEC): These elective courses are related to a specialization and allow students to enroll in a certain number of credits in order to acquire a EUHT CETT recognition of enhanced studies.
