ABSTRACTS & PAPERS SUBMISSION
Papers must deal with any of the Congress' topics of interest and will be evaluated anonymously by the members of the Scientific Comittee. Those papers that are selected will be presented orally during the II Smart Tourism Congress Barcelona and will be published, along with the speeches, in a digital minutes book with ISSBN.
All attending authors of the selected papers must be registered as attendees and have to pay the corresponding fee. In case of papers with different authors, at least one of them must attend to the congress. Non-attending authors who pay the registration fee will receive the Congress documentation, opportune certificates and proceedings.
The languages accepted at the Congress are English, Catalan and Spanish.

, you will be provided with a website where you can send in an abstract of your paper, using the platform Easychair. Once received, the abstracts will be evaluated for acceptace and the authors will be notified of the decision within the stipulated deadlines.
The abstract should have a maximum lenght of 4,000 characters. The content of the abstract must include which aspects you will discuss in your paper, including the introduction, objectives, methodology and results.

The articles must comply with the following rules:
The text (including the title, body, notes, graphics, tables, figures, maps and bibliographical references) may not exceed 12 pages. Any illustrations in the text must be digitalized, with sufficient resolution to ensure their quality when reproduced (minimum 300px), preferably in JPEG or TIFF format. Illustrations may not occupy more than three pages.
Texts must be presented in Word format, on size A4 (210 by 297 mm) paper, and the margins should be as follows: left 3 cm, right, top and bottom 2.5 cm.
The page composition should be as follows:
TITLE: In uppercase, bold, Arial 10 and centered.
AUTHOR/AUTHORS: Name in lowercase and the surname(s) in uppercase (Arial 10, centered, not justified). Affiliation on a separate line, centered for each one of the authors, including their workplace and email adress (Arial 8 and centered).
TEXT: For the body, use Arial 10 without using underline or bold (will only be used headings and titles of tables and figures), with full justification and single spacing.
The text will be divided into logical sections, with descriptive headings, numbered at different levels, in bold (first and second level) and italics (third level):

Paragraphs will begin withour tabulation and with single spacing with regard to the title or the prior paragraph.
Figures and tables will be incorporated into the text in the corresponding place. They will be numbered separately (figures and tables) by order of appearance (Arabic numerals). The title, in bold and centered, will be located at the top and will be separated from the figure or table by space.
Minimize the use of footnotes, which will be noted with Arabic numerals and should be consecutive, with full justification and Arial 8 font.
Bibliographic references included in the text will be noted between parenthesis with the author's surname, followed by the year of publication and the page, if necessary, in the following format: (Pillet, 2008: 15)
The bibliography will adapt to the following style:
