Awards for High Cchool Research Projects

The award is open to any high school student who submits a research project (TDR) on topics such as tourism, hospitality, gastronomy, sports and entertainment, events, sustainability, marketing, innovation, or business management during the 2025–2026 academic year.

First award:

• For the author: A grant of up to 4000€ for undergraduate studies or 2000€ for higher education, if the winner decides to study at the CETT School of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy. A MAC Air laptop (or similar model) in case the winner does not decide to study at CETT.
• For the educational center: A gift voucher for 1.000€ for educational material.

Second award:

• For the author: A grant of up to 2000€ for undergraduate studies or 1000€ per Higher Level Training Cycle, in case the winner decides to study at CETT School of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy. An IPad Air tablet (or similar model) in case the winner does not decide to study at CETT.
• For the educational center: A gift voucher for 500€ for educational material.

Third award:

• For the author: A grant of up to 1000€ for undergraduate studies or €500 for higher education, if the winner decides to study at the CETT School of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy. A MAC Air laptop (or similar model) in case the winner does not decide to study at CETT.
• For the educational center: A gift voucher for 300€ for educational material.

If any of the winners wants to study at a university or school in Barcelona, and lives more than 50 km. away from the city, they will receive a 30% discount on the cost of their stay at the Àgora BCN International Residence Hall during their first university year. 

Participants must complete the participation form. The deadline to apply is April 17, 2026.

As indicated in the online form, two PDF documents must be attached: the Research Project (TDR) and a summary of the project.

Document Requirements

• The PDF files must be named: TRABAJO_nombre (for the research project) and SINTESIS_nombre (for the summary).
  If the title is very long, it should be shortened using only the main words.
  Neither the project nor the summary may include the author’s personal details or the school’s name. Only the project title may appear.
• The research projects have no length limit and may be submitted in Catalan, Spanish, English, or French.
• The summary must not exceed 5 pages and must include: the project’s objectives, the hypotheses, the methodology used, and the main conclusions of the research.

Selection Process

Candidates will present their project orally before the jury on May 13, 2026, in a session held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
 

The presentation will last 10 minutes, followed by 5 minutes during which the jury may ask questions.
