Awards for high school research projects
CETT Fundació in its effort to promote and encourage the development of research, knowledge of tourism, hospitality and gastronomy, and academic excellence of students, wants to recognize the research project (treballs de recerca, TDR) of high school students in Catalonia that deal with the fields of Tourism, Hospitality, Gastronomy, and other related sectors.

To whom it is addressed
The award is aimed at any high school student who presents his or her research project (TDR) in the field of Tourism, Hospitality, Gastronomy, Marketing or other related sectors, in the 2024-2025 academic year.

The awards
First award:
- For the author: A grant of up to 4000€ for undergraduate studies or 2000€ for higher education, if the winner decides to study at the CETT School of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy. A MAC Air laptop (or similar model) in case the winner does not decide to study at CETT.
- For the educational center: A gift voucher for 1.000€ for educational material.
Second award:
- For the author: A grant of up to 2000€ for undergraduate studies or 1000€ per Higher Level Training Cycle, in case the winner decides to study at CETT School of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy. An IPad Air tablet (or similar model) in case the winner does not decide to study at CETT.
- For the educational center: A gift voucher for 500€ for educational material.
Third award:
- For the author: A grant of up to 1000€ for undergraduate studies or €500 for higher education, if the winner decides to study at the CETT School of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy. A MAC Air laptop (or similar model) in case the winner does not decide to study at CETT.
- For the educational center: A gift voucher for 300€ for educational material.
If any of the winners wants to study at a university or school in Barcelona, and lives more than 50 km. away from the city, they will receive a 30% discount on the cost of their stay at the Àgora BCN International Residence Hall during their first university year.

How to participate
Participants will have to fill in the participation form. The deadline for participation is April 7, 2025.
As indicated in the online form, 2 documents must be attached in PDF format: the Research Paper (TDR) and a Synthesis of the same.

Characteristics of the documents:
- The names of the PDF files must be: WORK_workname (in the case of the work) and SYNTHESIS_workname (in the case of the synthesis). In case the title of the paper is very long, the names of the PDF should be abbreviated by putting only the main words of the title. Neither the author's nor the school's data may appear in the paper or in the summary. Only the name of the work may appear.
- The works are free in length and can be presented in Catalan, Spanish, English or French.
- The summary of the work must not exceed 5 pages in length. It must contain the objectives of the work, the hypotheses put forward, the methodology used and the main conclusions of the research.

Selection procedure
Candidates will present their project orally in front of the jury on 8 May 2025 in a session from 11.00h to 14.00h. The presentation will last 10 minutes, after which the jury will have 5 minutes to ask any questions it deems appropriate.

The CETT Fundació Awards for high school research projects are organised by the CETT Fundació and the CETT, sponsored by the residència Àgora BCN and supported by the Catalan Youth Agency, the Department of Education, the Department of Business and Employment of the Generalitat of Catalonia and the University of Barcelona,
