  • Virtual Campus

    The Virtual Campus is the space where you will manage academic communications, check your schedules, grades, and academic record, as well as stay informed about CETT’s events and activities or access job and internship opportunities.

    Before getting started, remember that you can access the Virtual Campus from the CETT website or by downloading the Campus App from the App Store or Google Play.

    Now you’re ready! We’ve prepared a guide to show you how it works. We recommend reviewing it before your classes begin:

  • Access to the CETT building

    To enter the building, you will need to download the QR code through the CETT Campus App to validate it at the turnstiles located at the main entrance.

    How do I get the QR code to access CETT?

    • Download the CETT Campus App from the App Store or Google Play.
    • Log in with your campus access password and give your consent. If you are a new student and have not yet accessed the campus, you will need to log in with the identification document (ID, passport, or NIE) you provided to the Academic Office.
    • Tap the icon to open the QR code on the home screen.
    • Scan the QR code at the turnstile to enter.

Over the years, these have been the most common questions our students have before starting their studies.

 

  • How can I find my classroom?

    CETT’s building is organized across six floors, each with its own classrooms and services.

    Finding your classroom is easy! Each classroom at CETT is labeled with two digits:

    • The first digit indicates the floor where the classroom is located.
    • The second digit identifies the classroom number.

    You can also check the classroom map here.

    B1 | Main Floor

    This is where you'll find Reception, the Academic Secretary’s Office, the Espai Fòrum café, and the Jardinet del Fòrum. It’s also home to the fine-dining Aula Restaurant, the Teaching Kitchen, the Demonstration Kitchen, and the Pre-preparation Room.

    From this floor, you can also access Hotel Alimara through the garden.

    B0 | Lower Ground Floor

    Here you’ll find the changing rooms and classrooms B0.1 to B0.22, including the Gastronomic Lab, Techno-Culinary Classrooms, the Restaurant Workshop, the Pastry Kitchen, the General Cooking Workshop, the Sommellerie Rooms, the Research and Innovation Area, the Gastronomic Space, the Sensory Room, and the Plaza Room.

    1 | First Floor

    This floor includes classrooms 1.1 to 1.5, including the Computer Labs.

    You’ll also find the UB-Bullipedia Space, Career Services, CETT Alumni, the Vocational Training School, the Faculty Room, ICT Services, tutoring rooms, and workspaces for different management departments.

    2 | Second Floor

    Here you’ll find classrooms 2.1 to 2.11, including the Room of the Senses and the Reception Classroom. You’ll also find vending machines on this floor.

    3 | Third Floor

    This floor houses classrooms 3.1 to 3.12.

    4 | Fourth Floor

    Here you’ll find the Resource Center and the Eidos Space.

    This floor is also home to several academic and administrative services, including the University School, Research and Knowledge Transfer, and the International Department.

  • What gastronomic offerings does CETT provide?

    Espai Fòrum

    Espai Fòrum is a café-restaurant training space open to the public, offering a varied, healthy and seasonal selection of food and beverages adapted to different times of the day. It is also where vocational education and training students have their first contact with customers and further develop their culinary skills.

    Espai Fòrum will begin its activity on 16 September. Its opening hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

    Aula Restaurant

    Aula Restaurant CETT is a learning environment for vocational education and training students that has the same characteristics as a real gastronomic restaurant. Its gastronomic offering is conceived and designed with the customer, seasonality, produce and the demands of today's most up-to-date and exacting service standards in mind.

    Aula Restaurant will begin its activity on 17 September. Its opening hours are Monday to Friday, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Further information is available on its website.

  • How can I find out about activities or events on the CETT Campus?

    Pay attention to the hall screens located on the main floor (B01), where you’ll find up-to-date CETT information.

    You can find information about CETT through:

    We provide you with the Student Guide, where you will find general information, the curriculum, class schedules, scholarships, regulations, the tutorial action plan, academic organization, and more.

  • Do I have a student ID card?

    CETT ID Card for all students

    • You will have access to the CETT digital ID card through the Virtual Campus.

    UB ID Card for Bachelor's and Master's Degree Students

    • The UB ID card certifies your personal data, identifies you for university-related procedures, and gives you access to a special benefits program designed for students.
    • At the beginning of the academic year, you can obtain it by downloading the SocUB app. Students who enroll after the academic year has started will not be able to request the card until all administrative procedures have been completed.

  • What is university life like at CETT?

    CRAI

    The CRAI (also known as the Learning and Research Resource Centre) is the University of Barcelona's library network, with a total of nineteen libraries located across the university’s campuses and centres. It houses nearly two million books and journals (both digital and print).

    The closest library to CETT is the CRAI Library at the Mundet Campus (about 15 minutes walking), and the CRAI Library of Philosophy, Geography and History also has a wide selection of tourism-related resources.

    UB Sports

    UB Sports is located on Avinguda Diagonal and offers 100,000 m² of sports facilities, including a swimming pool, tennis and padel courts, group activity rooms, football and rugby fields, and an athletics track. There are also special membership deals for the UB Community.

    School of Modern Languages – EIM

    The School of Modern Languages (EIM) offers training in foreign languages such as English, German, French, Italian, Persian, and Chinese. Whether you're looking for general language courses, introductory classes, oral fluency workshops, or exam preparation courses, this is your school!

    Language Exchange Programme

    The Language Exchange Programme matches a student participating in a mobility programme who is learning Catalan with a native Catalan speaker who wants to practise another language.

    This is not a formal language class or course; each pair decides when and where to meet and what activities they want to do together (have a coffee, go for a walk, visit a museum, etc.).

    Would you like to join a colla castellera? Are you passionate about theatre, into role-playing games or photography? Looking to enjoy the university experience while sharing your interests with like-minded peers?

    Unirun

    If you like running, the Unirun is made for you!

    It’s a 5 km race involving the 12 Catalan universities. In addition to registering individually, you'll also identify with your university—Barcelona University in your case.

    Barcelona University Sports Leagues

    Would you like to play football, basketball, or volleyball? You can sign up for the university leagues either with your own team or individually through the player pool.

    The CETT organizes a wide range of events throughout the year for both students and industry professionals. Some of the key events you will experience during the 2026-2027 academic year include:

    Welcome Sessions for New Students · September 4 and 7, 2026

    International undergraduate students joining CETT for the first semester will attend their Welcome Session on Friday, September 4 at 10:30 AM.

    New students enrolled in Vocational Education and Training programmes and Bachelor's Degrees (first-year students) will attend their Welcome Session on Monday, September 7:

    • 9:00 AM for the Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Events and Entertainment and the Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Sciences (in Catalan).
    • 9:30 AM for the Bachelor's Degree in Tourism, the Open Degree, the Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Events and Entertainment, and the Bachelor's Degree in International Hotel Management (in Spanish).

    57th Academic Year Opening Ceremony · October 29, 2026

    This event officially launches the academic year and includes the inaugural lecture attended by authorities, faculty, students and staff. A networking reception with refreshments will follow in the garden.

    Sports Day · November 6, 2026

    Co-designed with the Student Committee, this event is a great opportunity to meet students from other programmes while taking part in team sports activities.

    Entrepreneurship Day · November 17, 2026

    The CETT Foundation Entrepreneurship Day 2026 will bring together students, alumni, professionals and entrepreneurs to share experiences, discover innovative projects and attend the final of the CETT Foundation Entrepreneurial Projects Awards. A morning dedicated to inspiration, learning and networking around entrepreneurship in tourism, hospitality and gastronomy.

Since its beginnings, CETT has upheld a firm commitment to the country and its own language, and consequently, to the promotion, development, study, and encouragement of the Catalan language on the CETT Campus. This commitment is an integral part of the essence and values of its strategic plan.

Through the Manifesto and the Language Use Protocol of the CETT Campus, CETT promotes the use of the Catalan language in a comprehensive manner across its various areas of application, while also ensuring its coexistence with other languages present on campus.

Equality Unit

CETT has its own Equality Committee, which is responsible for promoting projects aimed at raising awareness across the entire staff, defining actions that foster a gender-balanced approach to the work and family environment, and establishing measures to prevent future inequalities. The committee ensures the effective application of the principle of equal opportunities in all areas of the organization.

Additionally, the University of Barcelona has an Equality Unit — a commitment not only of the Rectorate, but of the entire university community. Its goal is to make equality among all members of the university community a reality.
