He holds a PhD in Tourism Management and Planning and specializes in tourism destination planning and management, particularly in the areas of technology and innovation. He is an associate lecturer in the Department of Regional Geographic Analysis and Physical Geography at the University of Alicante and a member of the University Institute for Tourism Research (IUIT).
He is a founding partner of Vivential Value, a consultancy specialized in territory intelligence and the creation of tourism value based on the identity resources of a place. He is a leading expert in connecting territory, experience and tourism, with his own methodology for transforming the unique characteristics of a territory into competitive tourism products and destinations.
He is the General Manager of Saborea España, the leading national association for gastronomic and culinary tourism. He brings to the master’s degree a high-level strategic and operational perspective on how to structure a territory’s gastronomic heritage as a driver of tourism development, with direct knowledge of best practices, destinations and gastronomic products in Spain, as well as of the international network.
