EXPERT KNOWLEDGE AREA (EKA)

1. The content of Bachelor's and Master's Capstone Projects related to a certain Expert Knowledge Area (EKA) developed as an initiative of EUHT CETT-UB is protected by Intellectual Property Rights. In this case, the author or authors of the SCP/ MCP transfer all the rights of use, such as copyright, distribution and public communication of the project, among other, to the EUHT CETT-UB, in accordance with article 37.3 of the Revised Law on Intellectual Property Law as long as it is exclusively with scientific, academic purposes. The EUHT CETT-UB compromises to disclose the name of the author or author of the project whenever the contents are shared within the said terms. The use of this information will be carried out in accordance with the Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996, April 12th, that passes the Revised Law on Intellectual Property, modified by the Law 5/1998, March 6th, incorporated to the Directive No. 96/9/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, March 11th 1996, on the legal protection of databases.

2. The content of Bachelor's/ Master's Capstone Projects related to a certain company, joint initiative with EUHT CETT-UB is protected by Intellectual Property Rights. In this case, the author or authors of the SCP/ MCP transfer all the rights of use, such as copyright, distribution and public communication of the project, among other, to the EUHT CETT-UB, in accordance with article 37.3 of the Revised Law on Intellectual Property Law as long as it is exclusively with scientific, academic purposes. The EUHT CETT-UB compromises not to disclose any company's confidential or sensitive data that may be detrimental for the company. Under no circumstances is the distribution of this project allowed with other purposes. The use of this information will be carried out in accordance with the Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996, April 12th, that passes the Revised Law on Intellectual Property, modified by the Law 5/1998, March 6th, incorporated to the Directive No. 96/9/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, March 11th 1996, on the legal protection of databases.

INDIVIDUAL INITIATIVE

3.The content of Bachelor's/ Master's Capstone Projects is protected by Intellectual Property Rights. The author of the project holds the exclusive right of authorship as well as the rights of use. However, the author hereby transfers to the EUHT CETT-UB and its Resource Center the distribution rights of the project in accordance with article 37.3 of the Revised Law on Intellectual Property Law as long as it is exclusively with scientific, academic purposes. Outside from these fields, the the right of use is limited to the author or authors of the project, unless the author/ authors state differently. The use of this information will be carried out in accordance with the Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996, April 12th, that passes the Revised Law on Intellectual Property, modified by the Law 5/1998, March 6th, incorporated to the Directive No. 96/9/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, March 11th 1996, on the legal protection of databases.
