Observatori CETT

Tourism is one of the main economic drivers of the country and a key aspect in defining Catalonia of the present and the future. From the CETT, for 50 years we have been working to promote a model of responsible tourism, which involves all the actors that make up the tourist activity: administrations, employers of large groups and local businesses, workers, associations of neighbors and any representative of civil society, in addition to tourists and residents.

The future of tourism is a common challenge in which training and research play a key role and which requires, at the same time, the collaboration and joint action of all the agents involved and public administrations.

Now, with our eyes on the elections of May 12th to the Parliament of Catalonia, we want to share points of view and analyze and reflect on the future of tourism in our territory. It is for this purpose that the CETT organizes Electoral Debate: Present and Future of Tourism in Catalonia, with the participation of representatives of the political forces that currently have parliamentary representation.
