Award for the Best Final Degree Projects of CETT-UB

CETT Fundació announces the CETT Fundació Award for the Best Final Degree Projects of CETT-UB, with the aim of encouraging students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism and the Interuniversity Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary and Gastronomic Sciences to develop their Final Degree Projects (TFG), promoting excellence and motivating them to carry out their work with rigor, quality, and depth.

  • Who is eligible

    The award is aimed at all students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism at CETT-UB and all students of the Interuniversity Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary and Gastronomic Sciences at CETT who, having submitted their Final Degree Project (TFG) during the 2024–2025 academic year —from September 2024 to July 2025— have obtained a grade of Excellent or Honours.

    A written communication will be sent to all students who meet these requirements, inviting them to confirm their participation should they wish to do so.

    Students who submit their Final Degree Project in September 2025 may participate in the next edition of these awards.

  • The awards

    Award for the Best Final Degree Project in Tourism: the award consists of a 70% scholarship for the first year of a Master’s programme taught at CETT (UB fees not included).

    Award for the Best Interdisciplinary Final Degree Project in Culinary and Gastronomic Sciences: the award consists of a 70% scholarship for the first year of a Master’s programme or a University Extension Diploma taught at CETT (UB fees not included).

    Award Characteristics

    The winning students may use the scholarship within the two academic years following the granting of the award. The scholarship cannot be combined with any other discount.

    If the award recipients choose not to pursue the selected programme under the stated conditions, the award will become void and cannot be transferred to another person or applied to another programme.

    Project teams may be composed of more than one student; however, the award will be granted to a maximum of two members of the team. CETT Fundació will request the names of the two members who will benefit from the award and declines any responsibility regarding the team’s internal decision on this matter.

  • How to participate

    To participate, candidates must complete the participation application form available on the CETT Foundation website, which can be found at the bottom of this page. The deadline to participate is 9 July 2025 at 11:59 p.m.

    As indicated in the form, the project must be attached with the file name TFG_titleoftheproject.

  • Selection process

    Candidates will present their project orally to the jury on 18 July 2025. The presentation will last 10 minutes, followed by 5 minutes during which the jury may ask any questions they deem appropriate.

  • Award presentation

    The formal award ceremony will take place at a public event during the first semester of the 2025–2026 academic year at CETT-UB.
