Award for the Best Master’s Theses at CETT-UB
CETT Foundation announces the CETT Fundació Award for the Best Master’s Theses at CETT-UB, with the aim of encouraging master’s students to develop their Master’s Final Projects (TFM), fostering excellence and motivating them to carry out their work with rigor, quality, and depth.

Target audience
The award is aimed at all students enrolled in CETT’s master’s programs who, having submitted their Master’s Final Project (TFM) during the 2024–2025 academic year (from September 2023 to September 2024), obtained a grade of Excellent or Distinction.

The awards
Award for the Best Master’s Final Project
The award consists of a €600 scholarship to be applied to the tuition fee of the first year of the PhD in Tourism (excluding administrative fees). In addition, the award includes co-supervision by a CETT doctoral professor. The TFM article will also be automatically submitted to REDINTUR, ensuring its dissemination not only through CETT’s channels but also via REDINTUR.
Award Characteristics
The TFM award will only be granted if the student enrols in the doctoral programme within two academic years after having completed the master’s degree.
- The award cannot be combined with any other type of discount.
- Projects may be written in Spanish, Catalan, or English.
- Project teams may be composed of more than one student; however, the award will be granted to a maximum of two members of the team. CETT Foundation will request the names of the two members who will receive the award and declines any responsibility regarding this designation.

How to participate
To participate, candidates must complete the participation application form found at the bottom of the page. The deadline to participate is 25 September 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

Selection process
Candidates will present their project orally to the jury on 9 October 2025. The presentation will last 10 minutes, followed by 5 minutes during which the jury may ask any questions they deem appropriate

Award presentation
The formal award ceremony will take place at a public event during the first semester of the 2024–2025 academic year at CETT-UB, within the framework of the 5th CETT Smart Tourism Congress Barcelona.
