Promoting entrepreneurship
CETT Fundació works to strengthen the development of entrepreneurial projects, fostering innovation and creating synergies and initiatives with a forward-looking vision. In addition, it promotes economic, social and environmental sustainability among companies and institutions as a key factor in ensuring their future and contributing to generating value for society.
Among other initiatives, the two awards granted by CETT Fundació to promote entrepreneurial projects stand out.
Award "Els 3 pioners"
Within the framework of the Alimara CETT Awards, CETT Fundació presents its Els 3 Pioners award.
The award, created jointly with the Fundació Jordi Comas Matamala and the Fundació Climent Guitart Foundation, recognises individuals or institutions that, from any field, have been pioneers and have contributed to the development and improvement of tourism in Catalonia. Each foundation grants its own Els 3 Pioners award.
Entrepreneurship Projects Award
The purpose of the Award is to recognise the best entrepreneurial projects in the tourism, hospitality, and gastronomy sectors, focusing on their acceleration through strategic and operational mentoring provided by members of the CETT mentoring team.

Who is it for
The Award is aimed at individuals or companies that were established from January 2020 onwards. More specifically, it targets early-stage entrepreneurial projects that already have an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and need to test and/or incorporate key elements that will support their acceleration.
-
The awards
The Award consists of a six-month mentoring period for the winning projects, provided by members of the CETT mentoring team, along with a financial grant.
The mentoring process is based on knowledge and experience transfer aimed at guiding entrepreneurs, accelerating the development of their projects, and helping them manage their business effectively.
Details of the CETT mentoring programme:
- It will begin in the second semester of 2024 and will conclude six months later.
- CETT Fundació will assign mentors to each of the winning projects.
- A member of the CETT-UB academic team will conduct follow-up of the process as co-mentor.
Financial grants:
- First prize: €3,600
- Second prize: €2,400
- Third prize: €1,800
The financial grant will be delivered to the winners in two instalments: one halfway through the mentoring process, and the other upon completion, subject to positive progress reports issued by the mentors of the awarded projects.
Furthermore, the grant must be invested primarily in digital marketing actions that help accelerate the project through activities adapted to its business model, market, audiences, etc. This investment must be duly justified and documented.
