Promoting entrepreneurship

The Award is aimed at individuals or companies that were established from January 2020 onwards. More specifically, it targets early-stage entrepreneurial projects that already have an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and need to test and/or incorporate key elements that will support their acceleration.

The Prize consists of a 6-month mentoring period for the projects, provided by members of the CETT mentoring team, as well as a financial endowment.

The mentoring is based on the transfer of knowledge and experience to guide entrepreneurs, thereby accelerating the project development process and helping to manage the business in an optimal way.

CETT mentoring details:

• The mentoring period will begin during the second half of 2025 and will conclude six months later.
• CETT Fundació will assign mentors to each of the winning projects.
• A member of the CETT-UB teaching staff will monitor the process through a co-mentoring approach.

Financial endowment:

• First prize: €3,600
• Second prize: €2,400
• Third prize: €1,800

The financial endowment will be paid to the winners in two instalments: the first halfway through the mentoring process and the second once the mentoring period has concluded, subject to positive mentoring progress reports prepared by the mentors of the awarded projects.

Likewise, the financial endowment must be invested primarily in digital marketing actions aimed at boosting the acceleration of the project, through different initiatives depending on the business, market, target audiences, and other aspects considered in the project. This investment must be duly justified and documented.

STAGE I

Dates: Until 15 October 2025

Procedure:
Applicants must submit the participation application form, ensuring that all fields are correctly completed, and attach the documentation detailed below.

For individuals submitting a project:

• Copy of the ID document (DNI) of the person(s) submitting the project
• Curriculum vitae
• Business plan of the project

For an already established company:

• Copy of the ID document (DNI) of the individual(s) completing the application
• Copy of the company’s NIF
• Copy of the public documentation certifying representation or powers of attorney
• Copy of the deed of incorporation and any subsequent amendments
• Business plan of the project

The project business plan must follow the model attached here.

Selection:
By delegation of the jury, an initial technical committee led by the Director of Training of CETT-UB will carry out the selection of ideas to move on to the second stage, choosing those considered to be the most responsible, innovative, economically viable, and offering products or services linked to the fields of tourism, hospitality and/or gastronomy.

STAGE II

Dates: November 2025

Procedure:
Applications will be evaluated, and only a selection will be shortlisted as finalists.

Selection:
By delegation of the jury, a technical committee made up of specialists in economics, finance, marketing, ICT, law and quality, environment and entrepreneurship will select the finalist projects.

STAGE III

Dates: 20 November 2025, during the CETT Fundació Entrepreneurship Day

Procedure:
Finalists will be required to deliver an Elevator Pitch of their project, with a maximum duration of 10 minutes, in front of the jury.

Selection:
After hearing the candidates and analysing the report prepared by the specialised technical committee, the jury will select the three projects deemed worthy of the awards.

The Award, organised by CETT Fundació, has the main collaboration of the Diputació de Barcelona, as well as the support and collaboration of CETT and Àgora BCN, International University Residence.
