The CETT's Biannual Festa Major is coming
From January 19th to 29th, our campus will be filled with energy, music, and a great atmosphere to celebrate our identity as a community.
We want all CETT students to come together for an experience that goes far beyond a party:
it's a week to meet new people, create unique moments, and make memories that will last a lifetime. Join us, have fun, and embrace the CETT spirit!

Sports
The sports theme is designed for those who enjoy pushing their limits, competing, and experiencing the adrenaline rush of team sports. Here you'll find dynamic tournaments, fast-paced matches, and a friendly atmosphere. Whether you love scoring goals, sinking three-pointers, making perfect serves, or showing off your ping-pong skills, this is the place for you.

Cultural
The cultural program of the Festa Major is designed to stimulate the mind, imagination, and creativity. Here, it's not the fastest who wins, but the most resourceful, the most observant… or the most knowledgeable.
From the fun multilingual trivia games, with surprising and different questions each day, to the cultural scavenger hunt, full of quick tests and brain teasers, you'll discover activities that blend humor, learning, and play.
And if artistic expression is your thing, the Photography Contest invites you to capture the beauty of friendship during the festival. A perfect opportunity to get emotional, create, and share your personal perspective of CETT.
Gastronomic
Fancy trying, learning, and sharing?
Come to lunch at Jardinet CETT, where you'll find our legendary burgers, and sign up for the "Learn and Eat Well" workshop with the Culinary Science students. A delicious experience for the most curious and foodie students at CETT.
The classic Trout Competition puts students' culinary skills to the test, with a professional jury evaluating flavor, technique, and creativity. Only the best will be crowned champions.
Festive
The festive section is the social heart of the Fiesta Mayor. Here you'll find activities designed to connect you with your classmates, meet new people, and enjoy CETT in a different way.
We'll close out the Fiesta Mayor with a grand finale party full of music, dinner, and surprises at the Hotel Alimara.
A night to end the week in style: dancing and celebrating together everything that unites us!

Multilingual Trivia
Test your knowledge of local festivals and their popular culture in a dynamic and fun environment. The language changes every day… and so do all the questions!

Escape room Thriller - Suspense Theme
We will bring light to the darkness
A person has disappeared. Something doesn’t add up. Time is running out, and every detail could be crucial.
We need sharp minds, strong observational skills, and teamwork to piece together the facts and uncover the truth.

Photography Contest — Theme: FRIENDSHIP
Capture what friendship means to you. Throughout the Fiesta Mayor, you can participate in this contest that aims to celebrate the relationships that are born and nurtured at CETT.
🗓 Participation Period:
Throughout the Fiesta Mayor, including the closing ceremony. You must submitt your photos by January 30th.
📌 Main Rules:
- Theme: Friendship. Interpret and express what it represents to you.
- You can submit up to 3 images per contestant.
- Submission Deadline: Friday, January 30.
- Awards Ceremony: Monday, February 2.
💡 Tips for Standing Out:
- You can use a camera or mobile phone.
- Creativity, originality, and the ability to convey emotion will be valued.
- Recommended Format: Horizontal, good quality, and without watermarks.
THE MOST GASTRONOMIC FESTIVAL
Show off your culinary creativity and enjoy a unique gastronomic experience at the CETT Festival. A fun, delicious challenge filled with camaraderie!
- You'll cook in a professional and fun environment.
- You can demonstrate your technique or dare to innovate.
- You'll compete in a friendly way with other CETT students.
- You have the chance to win a prize… and enjoy your own creation!
👩🍳 What does the contest consist of?
The Potato Omelette Competition is a team competition where you can make your own omelette in a professional setting with a time limit.
A maximum of 24 participants can register:
- 12 people per round
- 6 pairs per round
🕒 Schedules and operation
The competition is organized in two consecutive shifts to ensure adequate space, comfort, and safety in the kitchen.
📅 Date: Wednesday, January 21, 2026
⏰ Time: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
📍 Location: Room B0.15
Shift 1: 6 pairs (12 participants)
Shift 2: 6 pairs (12 participants)
Each pair will have a total of 2 hours to prepare and present their tortilla.
🧂 Materials and equipment
You don't need to bring anything: CETT provides all the necessary cooking equipment.
Includes:
- Paella pans and cooking utensils
- Basic ingredients (eggs, oil, potatoes, and other essential ingredients)
- Apron and chef's hat
🏆 Awards and jury
The competition will feature a specialized jury, comprised of teachers and culinary professionals from CETT, who will evaluate each tortilla based on:
- Flavor and cooking
- Creativity
- Presentation
- Teamwork
A special prize will be awarded to the winning pair during the closing ceremony of the Fiesta Mayor.

Discover The Social Master Week
CETT Master’s and Postgraduate students are invited to take part in the Social Master Week: three days, three unique experiences where they will work on soft skills, creativity, leadership, teamwork, negotiation and body language.
The activities are designed to tackle problem-solving and unpredictable situations through tasks that use socialisation as the main thread, while putting intercultural skills into practice.
Participation in the Social Master Week is mandatory for CETT-UB Master’s students.
Day 1 – A Journey Through the Senses
Sensory activity with wine tasting + guided dance session to work on: empathy, teamwork, adaptability, multiculturalism and trust.
Day 2 – Gymkhana Through the History of Barcelona
A team gymkhana to discover hidden corners and secrets of the Gothic Quarter.
Soft skills: leadership, communication, teamwork.
Dia 3 – CETT Gastronomy Fest
An international gastronomic festival. Students will present and share typical dishes from their home countries.
Soft skills: intercultural communication, adaptability, teamwork.
