Specialization itineraries of the degree
The Bachelor's Degree in Digital Business and Innovation allows you to choose between two specializations: Strategic Management and Business Development, and Digital Transformation, Creativity and Innovation.
- The Strategic Management and Business Development itinerarie offers advanced training to lead and expand companies in the field of digital tourism. The students will acquire knowledge in strategic management, investment and finance, and smart tourism management, fundamental to adapt to a global and changing market.
  
  They will also explore new emerging markets, business acceleration strategies and expansion models in tourism businesses, developing the necessary skills to create, scale and consolidate innovative projects in the sector.
- The itinerary in Digital Transformation, Creativity and Innovation provides the key tools to boost digitalization in the tourism sector. You will learn to create and manage innovative tourism products, apply artificial intelligence and integrate disruptive technologies such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing and virtual and augmented reality.
  
  In addition, you will be trained in cybersecurity to ensure secure digital environments. This specialization will enable the development of new business models, improving efficiency and competitiveness in an increasingly digitized tourism environment.
Pursuing a double degree

Before pre-registration you can choose the option of a double degree: with this alternative you will study the Bachelor's Degree in Tourism and the Bachelor's Degree in Digital Business and Innovation in five years.
Open degree

The open degree allows students to explore different university degrees for a year and a half before deciding which degree to pursue definitively.

This program offers the opportunity to combine subjects from various degrees, providing an interdisciplinary base.

Students take 60 credits combining by blocks the subjects of four different degrees: Degree in Tourism, Degree in Marketing, Events and Entertainment, Degree in International Hotel Management and Degree in Digital Business and Innovation.
Dual training: part of the training is carried out in a company
- This option is ideal if you are looking for a challenge, growth and a competitive advantage on your resume. It will allow you to spend the second semester of the third year and the first semester of the fourth year in a company.
- It will be a direct immersion in the work environment to learn about its culture, processes and business dynamics. You will be able to enhance your skills in a real environment and maximize your job opportunities at the end of the course.
- In order to be eligible for this type of training, both the academic record and the motivation and attitude during the course of the degree will be taken into account.

Key methodologies and strategies for developing and managing innovation in the business environment are explored. Students learn about creating innovation ecosystems, design thinking, and change management in disruptive environments.

It covers the use of digital tools (big data, artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, blockchain, IoT, among others). Delves into analysis and data-driven decision making.

Business management

Tourism management

Final Degree Project

The Final Degree Project (TFG) is worth 6 ECTS and consists of developing a digital innovation project in the tourism sector. It is carried out from the first year of the degree, as you acquire knowledge and tools, until it culminates in the final year.

In the first year, with the subject Innovation Processes for the Creation of Tourism Products, you will develop a business idea or digital innovation project in the tourism sector.

In the second year, with Development and Programming of Digital Platforms, and Entrepreneurship and Business Plan, you will study the processes necessary for their development.

Subsequently, in your third and fourth years, thanks to subjects such as Advanced Digital Project Management and optional courses, you will analyze the real possibilities of implementing the project.

There are two types of TFG:

Entrepreneurship project

You will develop a business project as a team. You will define the strategies and actions necessary to launch it on the market. The work is structured like a business plan (executive summary, market and competition analysis, and strategic, marketing, operations, and financial plans).

Intrapreneurship and innovation project

You will carry out an innovation project for a company, institution, or organization associated with CETT-UB. You will be presented with a challenge related to the development of new services or products, the creation of new lines of business, digitization processes, digital marketing, or the development of digital platforms.

Evaluation

CETT prefers in-person classes and continuous assessment, as it develops a teaching methodology based on challenge-based learning and entrepreneurial project development.

You can choose between two different types of assessments:

Continuous evaluation

It consists of assessing the work and the acquisition of skills and abilities carried out by students throughout the course.

Single evaluation

In special circumstances, students who, for justified reasons, cannot regularly attend in-person classes may opt for this alternative assessment option, consisting of a semester-based assessment test.

They are divided into two periods of curricular internships in CETT-application companies or in collaborating companies.
Minimum duration: 225 hours of training each

Paid professional internships in national and international companies.
From the first year, you'll be able to do voluntary internships to develop a qualified professional profile and gain experience.
Maximum duration: 900 hours per course.
