You will have to take 27 compulsory credits in English as Foreign Language, distributed in subjects of 9 ECTS each over the first three years of the Bachelor's Degree.
You will achieve a level of English equivalent to C1 of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
A specialization is a specialty within the degree that will allow you to study more specific topics to gain experience and knowledge.
The specialization you take will also appear on your official degree, as you have acquired the associated professional competencies. Within the degree, you can specialize by taking the following specializations:
The Specialization in Generation of New Tourism Models will help you delve into the mechanisms and instruments necessary to design and implement new business models that will enable you to face the challenges and make the most of opportunities brought by the sector's constant digital transformation.
You will learn to use the most appropriate technological tools available to meet the needs and expectations of increasingly hyperconnected and interactive visitors and offer them the best possible services and experiences.
All this implies the acceptance of new attitudes and the radical reformulation of strategies in an increasingly competitive environment that is moving at a speed that exceeds regulation limits.
The Specialization in Smart Destination Management will provide you with the necessary skills to achieve more sustainable tourism destinations and a more coherent and respectful experience towards local heritage and culture.
You will also learn how to develop business model proposals that break into the market. You will use technology in a disruptive way to facilitate and improve the visitor experience before, during, and after the trip.
Throughout the subjects of this specialization, you will delve into the mechanisms and tools necessary for the smart management of tourist destinations. You will have a comprehensive vision of the stakeholders involved and the opportunities derived from digitalization for smarter, more responsible, and sustainable management.
