Alimara Living Lab

Driving change in the Hotel and Restaurant Industry

The Alimara Living Lab is a real-life testing environment for innovation in hospitality and food service. It enables co-creation, testing of technologies and concepts, process optimization, and product trials before launch, reducing risks and enhancing the customer experience.

It is a collaborative platform that brings together companies, institutions, researchers, and professionals to develop and validate ideas that will transform the sector. The goal: to improve both customer experience and operational efficiency through innovation.

Management team

The Alimara Hospitality Living Lab is led by Álvaro Arrieta-Valle, manager of the Alimara University Hotel, and Oriol Anguera-Torrell, director of the GRATiR (Tourism Accommodation and Restaurant Research Group). Additionally, the lab’s competitive projects are coordinated by Max Ros, ensuring efficient and innovative management of our initiatives.

We also have the collaboration of the entire team of hospitality and restaurant experts from CETT-UB, which allows us to tackle multidisciplinary challenges with a practical and highly efficient approach.
