The GreenHost project (Vocational Excellence, Policy, and Enterprise United for Hospitality Management Skills Adapted on Environmental Footprint Methods) emerged from the identification of two specific needs in the tourism and hospitality industry: the lack of qualified personnel and the lack of skilled labor retention, and the urgency of becoming a green and sustainable sector.

The project aims to integrate green and digital practices into hospitality-related training curricula with the goal of improving the skills of students, professionals, and trainers. It also aims to create a network of industry representatives, training centers, students, and workers in the sector that will enable joint cooperation to offer training and internship opportunities to tourism industry professionals based on digitalization and sustainability.
