With the Master's Degree in Tourism Project Management you will acquire the necessary skills to create and launch new tourism products, apply new technologies to innovate in tourism companies and destinations and design products and services to compete in the international market.
At CETT-UB we want to provide a solution to the lack of specific tourism training in the Spanish university system to solve the main challenges facing the sector and its main subsectors, the hotel sector and the gastronomic sector. Challenges and challenges resulting from digitalization and globalization, mainly, as well as the need to innovate by incorporating sustainable criteria and respect for the environment.
Tourism will grow at an average of 3.3% per year until 2030. The sector needs trained professionals to respond to the innovation needs of tourism companies, as well as to design and offer tourism products and services aimed at digital and global consumers.

- Know the tools and knowledge for the creation and adaptation of products and services based on the opportunities that the evolution of the tourism market offers, especially thanks to the technological evolution, both from an intra-entrepreneurial and entrepreneurial perspective.
- Develop the necessary skills for project management. Learn to work using the most commonly used project management methodologies in the company (Waterfall, Lean, Agile, Kanban, Scrum, etc.) and master the instruments and tools for their development and implementation.
- To acquire the necessary skills for the definition of customer relationship systems that optimize the value provided by the company through the development of innovative experiences.
- Develop the professional skills necessary for active participation in the integral digitalization of the company, which involves the review of its business model, the processes associated with it, as well as the cultural adaptation aspects of the organization.

Master's Final Project
The international dimension, entrepreneurship and the digital tourism company are three of the main objectives of the Master in Development and Launch of Tourism Projects, the TFM is the instrument to synthesize these objectives.
The design of the Master's Final Project (MFP) course is directly linked to the teaching-learning process that characterizes this degree in terms of the transversal development of an innovation project in the tourism sector, throughout the Master's program.
The credits assigned to the Master's Final Project (6 ECTS) represent the culmination of the student's complete learning throughout the program. There are two types of TFM:

Entrepreneurship projects
The student synthesizes a project developed in a team or individually, and proposes strategies and actions to launch it to the market. The structure of the work will be that of a business plan:
- Executive summary
- Market and competitive analysis

Intrapreneurship and innovation projects
The student synthesizes an innovation project for a company, an institution or an organization that poses a challenge aligned in:
- Development of new products and services

Methodology and evaluation
CETT-UB has an experiential learning model, designed to facilitate the analysis and understanding of all aspects of business management, through your active participation in classes, challenges and projects.
It is based on five pillars:
- Challenge-based learning (ABR): you will face real challenges posed by teachers and organizations that are part of the CETT-UB partner network. Institutions such as La Roca Village, Rusticae or the Barcelona City Council have contributed to the CETT masters by posing challenges to be solved by the students.
- Project-Based Learning (PBL): you will tackle transversal projects that respond to a specific problem in the sector. In this way, you will develop skills in collaboration, problem solving and critical thinking, applied in a real work environment.
- Gamification: a fun and relaxed experiential learning method, with which you will learn to solve complex problems in a given time, generating an environment in which there is no fear of error, but the possibility of achieving goals and objectives.
- Design Thinking: a 100% user-oriented methodology to find solutions that provide answers in an area or sector. This methodology allows you to work on creativity, providing innovative and disruptive solutions in a short time, fostering your creativity and your ability to work as part of a team.
- Case studies: you will visit different companies and institutions in Barcelona to learn and apply concepts acquired from the exposure of real situations of the organization presented in situ by their teams.
The master's degree does not have final exams. The evaluation is based on continuous monitoring by the faculty and the course management, as well as the resolution of individual or group written tests and the development of work during the course.

Double specialization: by taking the master's degree, you will be able to take, if you wish, a second specialization within the program that will appear in an official degree. But you will only be able to do one specialization per year, always respecting the teaching periods.

We understand the challenge of living in an environment that is not your own, that is why the CETT-UB Campus offers you the International Relations Office (ORI), as an area aimed at orientation, counseling and attention to international students of the master's programs.
The team in this area will provide you with relevant information related to logistical aspects of living in Barcelona such as registration, processing your foreigner's identity number (NIE) or finding accommodation in the city.
Formalities related to your academic stay
The ORI team will provide you with updated information on the procedures to be carried out once you are in the city, guiding you on essential documents such as the foreigner's identity number (NIE), the municipal census or official registry or the university card.
Languages
If your mother tongue is not Spanish, the ORI team will provide you with advice on how and where to learn it. They will also tell you where to learn Catalan, which will facilitate your integration into daily life in the city. In addition, you will be able to strengthen your Spanish through the certified courses offered by our Language Department at CETT-UB. On the other hand, if you want to practice any other language in an informal way, you can participate for free in our language exchange program between CETT-UB students.

During the Master's Degree in Tourism Project Management you will have the opportunity to do internships in top level companies and institutions with the aim of acquiring new skills and applying the knowledge learned in the Master's Degree.
The Career Services department will guide you on the types of internships you can choose from.

The internhips have 2 modalities
Curriculars: Linked to subjects of the program you are taking and that are part of your academic curriculum, therefore, mandatory.
Extracurricular: Not included in the curriculum and of a voluntary nature.
The internships are carried out through university-industry cooperation agreements and are supervised by professors who are experts in each of the subjects.

Students coming from undergraduate degrees in the fields of economics and social sciences, business administration and management, marketing, commerce, accounting, tourism and other related degrees in these disciplines are not required to take any type of complementary courses.
The Master's Degree has a range of subjects designed exclusively to meet the specific needs of potential students coming from other disciplines, as training complements.
Who is exempt from taking bridging courses?
Students with a bachelor’s degree in economics and social sciences, business administration, marketing, commerce, accounting, tourism or other related disciplines do not need to take any bridging courses.
Who must take bridging courses?
Students from academic backgrounds different from the ones listed above (such as health sciences, humanities, etc.) must complete one course to understand the dynamics of tourism in today’s society, its development and trends, and to identify the main operations and stakeholders: destinations, intermediation, transportation and accommodation.
