This course is for graduates in areas of knowledge from social sciences and humanities, especially those who may have studied diploma and degree programs adapted to the EHEA.

Candidates who do not come from the degrees mentioned above will have to take complementary training courses.

Training complements
The training complements defined in the Master's Degree are intended to ensure that students who do not come from business studies have a basic knowledge of the concept, structure and particularities of the aspects related to marketing and economic-financial management in the field of hospitality.

The training complements to be completed by students depending on the degree they hold are set out below:

Complementary training

El estudiante deberá cursar complementos de formación en función de su formación previa hasta un máximo de 15 ECTS.

La finalidad de esta formación complementaria es garantizar un nivel competencial de entrada equivalente al que poseen los egresados de Grado de Ciencias Culinarias y Gastronómicas o afines, en lo referente al conocimiento de los negocios gastronómicos y las técnicas culinarias.

La selección de los complementos de formación necesarios para cada estudiante tendrá en cuenta las competencias de su titulación de origen y su relación con las competencias del Grado de Ciencias Culinarias y Gastronómicas o afines. La superación de estos complementos de formación será un requisito necesario para la consecución del título. Según la titulación de acceso, se identificará el conjunto de complementos de formación a cursar.

A continuación, se establecen los complementos de formación que deberán realizar los estudiantes en función de la titulación previa adquirida:

  • Grado de Ciencias Culinarias y Gastronómicas (o afines)

    • No se requieren complementos de formación
  • Grado de ciencia y tecnología de los alimentos

    • Fundamentos de gestión económica y financiera (6 ECTS)
  • Grado de nutrición y dietética humana

    • Fundamentos de gestión económica y financiera (6 ECTS)
    • Organización Culinaria y dirección de operaciones (6 ECTS)
  • Grado de Ingeniería Alimentaria, Grado en Ciencias Ambientales, Grado en Dirección Hotelera

    • Sistemas y procesos de producción culinaria (6 ECTS)
    • Técnicas y elaboraciones culinarias (6 ECTS)
  • Grado en Turismo, Grado en Economía, Grado en Administración y Dirección de Empresas

    • Sistemas y procesos de producción culinaria (6 ECTS)
    • Técnicas y elaboraciones culinarias (6 ECTS)
    • Seguridad alimentaria y legislación (3 ECTS)

CETT Foundation, with the firm conviction that training and transmission of knowledge are fundamental, extends the study aid program already offered annually to students and includes new scholarships for the 2021/2022 academic year, also taking into account the difficulties generated by COVID-19.
