Scholarships for university degree students

At CETT-UB, we promote talent and academic excellence with a scholarship program for new and continuing university students.

For new students, we offer scholarships that reward merit and facilitate university access, such as the Academic Excellence Scholarship or the Talent Scholarship.

For those already part of CETT-UB, we provide scholarships for continuity, mobility, and research, including the Mou-te! Academic Scholarship, Minor Scholarships, and the Collaboration Scholarship.

Our goal is to ensure equal opportunities and support students' academic and professional development.

Scholarships for new students of university degrees

  • Academic Excellence Scholarship for students of university degrees

    Academic Excellence Scholarship for new students 2026/2027

    1.1. Purpose:

    Encourage and reward academic excellence.

    1.2. Recipients:

    E.S.O. students (secondary school leavers), Pre-University students, higher vocational training courses holders who wish to access CETT -UB Degree programs in Tourism and Hospitality Management or in Culinary and Gastronomy Sciences or in Digital Business and Tourism Innovation for the first time.

    1.3. Requirements:

    Pre-University students: must have a score of 9 out of 10 or higher in their access to university tests.

    Higher vocational training courses holders: must have an average score of 9 out of 10 or higher on their academic record.

    1.4. Number of scholarships and financial award:

    • 1 Scholarship for new students of Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary and Gastronomic Sciences
    • 1 Scholarship for new students of Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism
    • 1 Scholarship for new students of Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Business and Tourism Innovation
    • 1 Scholarship for new students of Bachelor’s Degree in International Hotel Management
    • 1 Scholarship for new students of Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Events & Entertainment
    • 1 scholarship for the 1st year of the Open Bachelor’s Degree

    These scholarships will cover 50% of the course total fee, except enrolment fees and UB tax in the case of the Tourism Degree, Digital Business and Tourism Innovation Degree, International Hotel Management Degree, and Marketing, Events & Etertainment Degree. In the case of the Culinary and Gastronomic Sciences Degree, with the exception of enrollment fees, UB tax and material.

    Following Spanish legislation 40/1998 IRPF, 2% taxation will be deducted from the full scholarship amount*.

    1.5. Candidate Evaluation Criteria:

    For the awarding of scholarships, the best academic record and merits for which the scholarship is requested, as stated in the Observations section of the application, will be taken into account.

    1.6. Required documents:

    ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP application form dutifully completed.

    • Higher vocational training courses holders: academic record with average mark for HVTC.
    • Photocopy of proof of Identity (National Identity Card; DNI; NIE, Passport)

    1.7. Applications deadlines and documents:

    Candidates must fill in the Academic Excellence scholarship for new students’ online application form and attach the documents listed on 1.6.

    Application period: from June 26 to July 18, 2026.

    All applications must include all required documents.

    Applications that do not include all required documents will be automatically denied.

    1.8. Resolution:

    The Scholarships Committee will communicate via e-mail with candidates the resolution no later than 2 weeks after the application deadline. After studying all applications, the Scholarships Committee may decide not to award the available scholarships depending on whether eligibility criteria are met.

    1.9. Scholarship renewal request:

    Scholarships may be renewed if candidates maintain the same academic status to be eligible. These are the requirements to request scholarship renewal:

    • Pass 100% of ECT in the first year.
    • Have an average mark of 9 out of 10 or higher in their academic record (CETT’s secretary will provide such academic record along with the application form).
    • Show great passion and motivation for the studies and the profession.

    Application period: from June 26 to July 18, 2026.

  • Talent scholarship for vocational education in culinary arts and gastronomy and university degrees 2026/2027

    1.1. Purpose

    The purpose of this scholarship is to promote and recognise the talent of individuals with financial needs who wish to begin their studies in the fields of tourism, hospitality or gastronomy.

    1.2. Eligible Applicants

    This call is addressed to secondary school (ESO), upper secondary school (Baccalaureate) or vocational education students who wish to begin vocational education studies in Culinary Arts and Gastronomy or university degree studies at CETT.

    1.3. Requirements

    1.3.1. For students wishing to enrol in an Intermediate Vocational Education Programme

    In the case of students coming from ESO, they must have an average academic record grade equal to or higher than 7.5.

    They must have completed the reservation of a place or the enrolment in the studies at CETT for the corresponding academic year.

    1.3.2. For students wishing to enrol in an Advanced Vocational Education Programme

    In the case of students coming from Baccalaureate studies, they must have an average Baccalaureate academic record grade equal to or higher than 7.5.

    In the case of students coming from a vocational education programme, they must have an average academic record grade from the vocational programme equal to or higher than 7.5.

    They must have completed the reservation of a place or the enrolment in the studies at CETT for the corresponding academic year.

    1.3.3. For students wishing to enrol in a University Degree

    They must have applied as their first preference for one of the university degrees offered by the CETT-UB School of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy in the first round of university pre-enrolment (June 2026) and have an average academic record grade from Baccalaureate or an Advanced Vocational Education Programme equal to or higher than 7.5.

    1.3.4. Common Requirement for All Applicants

    Applicants must not have been beneficiaries of any other CETT scholarship or discount.

    CETT scholarships and discounts are not cumulative, except for the full-payment discount. In the event that a student meets the requirements to access more than one scholarship or discount, only the most beneficial option will be applied.

    1.4. Number of Scholarships

    A total of 20 scholarships are available for students enrolled in the first year of the following programmes:

    1.5. Financial Award

    A 2% withholding tax will be applied to the scholarship amount in accordance with Law 40/1998 on Personal Income Tax (IRPF)*.

    *The Personal Income Tax Law (LIRPF) classifies scholarships as employment income. Consequently, scholarships not covered by the exemption provided for in Article 7.j) of the LIRPF (EDL 2006/298871) shall be considered employment income, in accordance with Article 17.2.h) of the LIRPF and, as such, shall be subject to withholding tax on account of Personal Income Tax (IRPF). The withholding tax shall be calculated in accordance with the general procedure established in Articles 80 and following of the Personal Income Tax Regulations (RIRPF).

    1.6. Assessment Criteria

    For the awarding of scholarships, the following aspects will be assessed:

    • The best academic record.
    • The financial and family situation (for assessment purposes, Threshold 3 of the family income established by the General Scholarship of the Government of Catalonia or the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports will be taken as a reference).
    • The curriculum vitae.
    • The reasons stated in the observations section of the application.

    1.7. Documentation to be Submitted

    The documentation required to apply for this scholarship is as follows:

    • Academic certificate accrediting the corresponding average grade.
    • Proof of university pre-enrolment showing the application as first preference, in the case of students wishing to access a university degree.
    • Copy of the reservation or enrolment, which will be incorporated ex officio by the CETT Academic Secretariat if the student wishes to enrol in a vocational education programme.
    • Income tax return and assets declaration corresponding to the latest fiscal year of all members of the family unit required to submit it.
    • If there is no obligation to submit an income tax return, the corresponding certificate and proof of income of all members of the family unit.
    • In the case of self-employed workers, proof of self-employment registration and the latest self-employment contribution receipt.
    • Updated curriculum vitae.
    • Where applicable, supporting documentation of any family or personal circumstances to be declared (child support payments, widow's pension, orphan's pension, housing rental contract or receipts, disability certificate, among others).

    1.8. Submission of Applications

    Applications must be submitted through this online form.

    • The application period will be from 17 June to 21 July 2026.

    • If the available funding is not exhausted, a second call may be opened from 2 to 6 September 2026.

    Once the application has been submitted, the Scholarship Committee may request additional documentation or an online interview if deemed necessary to expand the information provided.

    The submission of incomplete, incorrect or non-supporting documentation regarding the required eligibility criteria may result in the rejection of the application.

    1.9. Resolution

    The Scholarship Committee shall be the body responsible for assessing the applications submitted in accordance with the criteria established in this call.

    The decision shall be communicated individually to applicants by email by the Academic Secretariat within a maximum period of 15 days from the closing date of the call.

    The scholarship shall become effective provided that enrolment for the 2026/2027 academic year has been completed within the established deadlines.

    In the event that there are no applications in a particular programme that meet the requirements or achieve the minimum score established, CETT reserves the right to declare the scholarship void or to redistribute it among other programmes included in this call.

    The total amount of the scholarship, once the corresponding 2% deduction has been applied in accordance with current tax regulations, shall be applied to the single payment or to the established instalments, depending on the payment method chosen by the student.

    1.10. Scholarship Renewal for Students from Previous Academic Years

    The scholarship awarded may be renewed until the completion of the studies being undertaken by the student, provided that they maintain the financial and academic conditions (having passed all the credits or subjects enrolled in during the previous academic year and accrediting an average academic record grade equal to or higher than 7.5) that enabled them to obtain it.

    • The application period will be from 11 to 25 June 2026.

  • Scholarship CETT-UB for the Degree in Digital Business and Innovation in Tourism

    Scholarship for the Degree in Digital Business and Innovation in Tourism in collaboration with the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO)

    1.1. Object:

    The objective of this scholarship is to identify and attract young talent motivated to develop their professional career in the field of tourism and digitalization, which is part of the work agenda between the CETT-UB and said World Tourism Organization.

    1.2. Object:

    Baccalaureate or Higher Education Training Cycle students who are entering university for the first time and who want to take the first year of the CETT Degree in Digital Business and Innovation in Tourism.

    1.3. Requirements:

    • Having applied for the degree in first preference in the first call for university pre-registration 2026.
    • In the case of Baccalaureate students: have a university entrance grade equal to or greater than 7.5.
    • In the case of students in the Higher Level Training Cycle: have an average grade of the academic record of the
    • Training Cycle equal to or greater than 7.5.
    • Not having been a beneficiary of any other CETT scholarship or discount for the 2026/2027 academic year.
    • Otherwise, the amount of the scholarship or discount that is most beneficial for the student will be applied.

    1.4. Financial envelope:

    Two scholarships are being announced for the first course of the Degree in Digital Business and Innovation in Tourism. The amount of each scholarship will correspond to 25% of the total amount of the 2026/2027 academic year, excluding tuition and university fees.

    A 2% withholding must be applied to the amount of the scholarship according to Personal Income Tax Law 40/1998*.

    *The LIRPF classifies scholarships as income from work. Consequently, scholarships that are not covered by the exemption of article 7 j) of the LIRPF (EDL 2006/298871) will be considered income from work in accordance with article 17.2 h) of the LIRPF) and, as such , will be subject to personal income tax withholding. To calculate the withholding, the general procedure established in articles 80 et seq. of the RIRPF will be followed.

    1.5. Assessment criteria for award:

    For the award of scholarships, the following will be taken into account:

    • Best academic record
    • Economic-family situation (the Family Unit Income thresholds for Scholarships from the Ministry of Education and
    • Vocational Training will be taken into account)
    • Curriculum vitae
    • The reasons stated in the OBSERVATIONS section of the application

    1.6. Documentation to present:

    The student must fill out the scholarship application online (see point 1.7), where they must include the following scanned documentation:

    • Identification document (DNI; NIE, Passport)
    • High School students: certificate stating the average grade for access to the university.
    • Proof of University Pre-registration stating the application for the Degree in Digital Business and Innovation in Tourism in first preference.
    • Curriculum vitae
    • Complete Income and Asset Declaration corresponding to the last fiscal year of all eligible members of the family unit required to present it. If you are not required to present it, it will be necessary to attach a supporting certificate.
    • In the case of Self-Employed, attach the document proving the results of your activities (IRPF of economic activities for the last year, the last 4 quarterly VAT returns, etc.).
    • Depending on the family situation, the supporting documentation (alimony for separations, widow's pension, orphanhood, rental housing, disability certificate, etc.).

    1.7. Presentation of applications:

    From June 17 to July 21st, 2026.

    The application must be submitted through the following online form*.

    All required documentation must be attached to this request.

    Any scholarship application that is not accompanied by supporting documentation will imply its denial.

    Once the application has been submitted, the Scholarship Commission may request the student, if it considers it necessary, both to submit documentation related to the scholarship application and the possibility of an online interview to expand the information.

    1.8. Resolution:

    The awarding of the scholarships will be made based on compliance with the requirements and until the global endowment is assigned.

    The Scholarship Commission, made up of members of Barcelona Turisme, Barcelona City Council and the CETT (Management, Career Services and Scholarship Management), will communicate the resolution via email from the Virtual Campus and individually to the applicants no later than the 28th of July 2026.

    The scholarship will be effective as long as registration for the 2026/2027 course is completed on the established dates.

    In case of non-compliance with the resolution of the requested scholarship, the student may request a review, through the CETT Virtual Campus to the Scholarship Commission within a maximum period of 8 days from the notification. Any review request after this deadline will NOT be accepted.

Scholarships for CETT students for university degrees

  • Students Scholarship 

    1.1. Purpose

    To facilitate the continuation of studies in the fields of tourism, hospitality and gastronomy for CETT students experiencing financial difficulties who demonstrate interest and ability in both academic and professional areas.

    1.2. Eligible Applicants

    This call is addressed to students who, during the 2026/2027 academic year, are enrolled in the second year or higher of vocational education programmes at the Professional Technical School, as well as in bachelor's degrees and university extension courses at CETT-UB School of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy.

    1.3. Requirements

    To apply for this scholarship, applicants must:

    • Have passed all subjects of the current academic year by the closing date of the call.
    • Have applied for the General Scholarship for the 2026/2027 academic year offered by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports or by the Government of Catalonia.
    • Provide evidence of their financial and family situation, taking as reference Threshold 3 of the family income established by the General Scholarship of the Government of Catalonia or the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports.
    • Not have been awarded any other CETT scholarship or discount.

    CETT scholarships and discounts are not cumulative, except for the full-payment discount. If a student meets the requirements for more than one scholarship or discount, only the most beneficial option will be applied.

    1.4. Financial Award

    The scholarship amounts are:

    a) €1,290

    b) €2,550

    A 2% withholding tax will be applied to the scholarship amount in accordance with Law 40/1998 on Personal Income Tax (IRPF)*.

    • Academic record.
    • The academic year in which the student is enrolled.
    • Having received the General Scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports in the previous academic year.
    • Accredited training and practical experience.
    • Interest and level of motivation regarding the studies and profession.
    • The reasons stated in the observations section of the application.

    1.6. Documentation Required

    Applicants must submit the following documentation:

    • Updated curriculum vitae.
    • Income tax return and assets declaration corresponding to the most recent fiscal year for all members of the family unit required to submit them.
    • If not required to submit an income tax return, the corresponding certificate and proof of income for all members of the family unit.
    • For self-employed individuals, proof of self-employment registration and the latest self-employment contribution receipt.
    • Where applicable, supporting documentation regarding any family or personal circumstances that the applicant wishes to declare (child support payments, widow’s pension, orphan’s pension, housing rental contract or receipts, disability certificate, among others).
    • The student's academic record will be incorporated into the application ex officio by the Academic Secretariat.

    1.7. Application Submission

    Applications must be submitted through this online form.

    The application period will be from 11 to 22 June 2026.

    Once the application has been submitted, the Scholarship Committee may request additional documentation or an online interview if deemed necessary to expand on the information provided.

    The submission of incomplete, incorrect or non-supporting documentation regarding the required eligibility criteria may result in the rejection of the application.

    1.8. Resolution

    The Scholarship Committee, composed of representatives from Barcelona Turisme, Barcelona City Council and CETT (Finance Department, Career Services and Scholarship Management), will be responsible for assessing the applications submitted in accordance with the criteria established in this call.

    The resolution will be communicated individually to applicants by email by the Academic Secretariat between 1 and 2 July.

    The total scholarship amount, once the corresponding 2% deduction has been applied in accordance with current tax regulations, will be deducted from the single payment or from the instalments established, depending on the payment method chosen by the student.

    Students may submit a request for review of the decision to the Scholarship Committee within a maximum period of 8 days from the date of notification by emailing [email protected]. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

  • Mou-te! Academic Scholarship for Mobility

    1.1. Purpose

    The Mou-te! Academic Scholarship aims to promote international academic mobility among students through the partial completion of their studies abroad at a university with which CETT-UB maintains a bilateral agreement or participates in the Erasmus Programme.

    1.2. Recipients

    Students enrolled in one of the following CETT-UB university degree programmes may apply for this scholarship:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Culinary and Gastronomic Sciences
    • Bachelor's Degree in Tourism
    • Bachelor's Degree in Digital Business and Tourism Innovation
    • Bachelor's Degree in International Hotel Management
    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Events and Entertainment
    • Double Bachelor's Degree in Tourism and Digital Business and Tourism Innovation

    Applicants must have obtained a place in an international academic exchange programme for the 2026/2027 academic year.

    1.3. Requirements

    Be enrolled in one of the CETT-UB university degree programmes mentioned above during the 2026/2027 academic year

    • Have passed all subjects from the previous academic year by the application deadline. Applications with pending subjects will not be accepted.
    • Not have previously been a beneficiary of a CETT-UB Mou-te! Academic Scholarship.
    • Not have been a beneficiary of any other CETT scholarship or discount for the same academic year.

    CETT scholarships and discounts are not cumulative. In the event of eligibility for more than one aid programme, only the most beneficial aid for the student will be applied. The Mou-te! Academic Scholarship is only compatible with the discount for full payment in a single instalment.

    1.4. Number of scholarships and Economic Assistance

    The amount of the scholarship will vary depending on the destination country

    A maximum of one scholarship per host university will be awarded.

    Payment Method

    The scholarship amount will be paid by bank transfer in two instalments:

    • First payment (50%): once the student sends the Certificate of Arrival issued by the host university to [email protected].
    • Second payment (50%): once the exchange programme has been completed and the student has sent the Certificate of Attendance issued by the host university to [email protected] (see the template here).

    For students participating in the Global Faculty UB Mobility Programme, the certificates must be submitted using the following official templates:

    If the student withdraws from the programme before its completion or fails to comply with the established conditions, they must repay all or the proportional part of the scholarship received, as applicable.

    1.5 Assessment Criteria for Awarding Scholarships

    The Scholarship Committee will assess applications according to the following criteria:

    • Economic and family circumstances.
    • Number of credits successfully completed.
    • Academic record.
    • Assessment of practical experience.
    • Motivation and interest in the mobility programme.

    1.6. Documents to be presented

    The documentation required to apply for this scholarship is as follows:

    • The income tax return and declaration of assets corresponding to the most recent fiscal year for all members of the household who are required to file a tax return. If the applicant is not required to file an income tax return, a supporting certificate and proof of income for all members of the household must be provided.
    • In the case of self-employed individuals, proof of registration as self-employed and the latest self-employed social security contribution receipt.
    • Where applicable, supporting documentation relating to the family or personal circumstances to be considered (child support payments, widow’s pension, orphan’s pension, housing rental contract or rent receipts, disability certificate, among others).
    • The academic transcript, which will be incorporated ex officio by the Academic Secretariat.
    • An updated curriculum vitae (CV).

    1.7. Filing Applications and Documentation

    Applications must be submitted through this online form.

    *The application period will run from 5 to 15 June.

    Once the application has been submitted, the Scholarship Committee may, if deemed necessary, request additional documentation or require the applicant to attend an online interview in order to obtain further information.

    The submission of incomplete, incorrect or insufficient documentation to demonstrate compliance with the required eligibility criteria may result in the rejection of the application.

    1.8. Resolution

    The Scholarship Committee, made up of members of the CETT team, will be responsible for assessing the applications submitted in accordance with the criteria established in this call for applications.

    The resolution will be communicated individually to applicants by email by the Academic Secretariat before 24 June.

    Students may submit a request for review of the decision to the Scholarship Committee within a maximum period of 8 days from the date of notification by sending an email to [email protected]. Requests submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

  • Talent Scholarship Renewal for students from previous academic years

    The awarded scholarship may be renewed until the completion of the student's programme of study, provided that the financial and academic conditions that enabled the student to obtain it are maintained (having passed all credits or subjects enrolled in during the previous academic year and having achieved an average academic record grade of 7.5 or higher).

    • The application period will be from 11 to 25 June 2026.

  • Scholarship for Joint university double degrees for Mobility

    Scholarship for International university double degrees 2026/2027

    1.1. Purpose

    To promote the mobility and internationalization of students studying an international double degree offered by the CETT-UB and universities in different countries recognized for their academic excellence and prestige.

    1.2. Recipients

    Students enrolled in the EUHT CETT-UB's Bachelor's Degree in Tourism who have obtained a place at an international university with which the CETT has an agreement for the 2026/2027 academic year to study a joint degree.

    1.3. Requirements

    • To have studied and passed all the credits of the Tourism Degree up to the deadline for submitting applications. Applications with subjects pending qualification will not be accepted.
    • Be accepted by CETT and the host University.
    • Not have received any other CETT scholarship or grant for the academic year for which the scholarship is requested. Otherwise, the amount of the grant or discount that is most beneficial to the student will be applied.

    The Scholarship for International Joint Degrees will only be compatible with the discount for payment in installments.

    1.4. Number of scholarships and financial help

    One grant per university of destination will be awarded.

    The amount of the scholarship will be paid by direct debit as follows:

    A bank transfer will pay 50% of the amount awarded once the Coordination of Studies of the Bachelor's Degree in Tourism has confirmed the student's arrival at the University of destination.

    The remaining 50% of the grant will be paid once the Coordination of Studies of the Bachelor's Degree in Tourism has the grades of the 1st semester of the credits taken at the destination university.

    If the student terminates the agreement before the end of its term or completes the period established in the agreement, the amount of the grant that has been paid will be refunded.

    1.5. Candidate Evaluation Criteria

    To award the scholarships, the following aspects will be taken into account:

    • Economic and family situation
    • Academic record.
    • Assessment of the foreign language proficiency as required by the host university.
    • Assessment of qualifications and professional experience.

    1.6. Required documents

    Students must fill in the online application form for the Internaional Joint University Degrees scholarship, which must include the following scanned documentation:

    • Full annual income form from the previous year from all household members eligible to pay income tax. Members who are not eligible to pay income tax must provide an income tax exemption form.
    • In the case of self-employed workers, it will be necessary to attach the document accrediting the results of their activities (personal income tax on economic activities for the last year, the last 4 quarterly VAT returns, etc.).
    • Depending on the household circumstances, documents that can prove special financial status (disability statements, alimony, bereavement allowance, orphan's allowance, tenancy agreement, etc.).
    • CETT Secretary's Office will attach the summary of the academic record up to the date of the deadline for the presentation of the applications for the Joint University Degrees Scholarship to the rest of the documents provided.

    1.7. Deadlines

    The applicant will have to submit the application using this online form. (The form will be activated on the first day of the application period).

    All the necessary documentation must be attached to the application form.

    Application period: from 3 to 14 June 2026.

    Once the application has been submitted, the Scholarship Committee may ask the candidate, if necessary, to submit any additional documentation related to the application and the possibility of an online interview to provide further information.

    Applications that do not include all required documents will be automatically denied.

    1.8. Resolution

    Scholarships will be granted, considering fulfillment of the requirements.

    The Scholarships Committee, comprised of the Economic-Financial Department, Career Services, and Scholarship Management, will notify applicants individually via the Virtual Campus by 28 June 2026.

    Appeals to the Scholarships Committee may be done through CETT Campus Virtual within eight days of the notification of the decision. Any appeal after this period will not be accepted.

  • Collaboration Scholarship for Intership and research

    Course 2026/2027

    1.1. Purpose:

    To facilitate access to tourism training to CETT students in any of the official degree programs (vocational, undergraduate, and master's degrees) by allowing them to collaborate in the different CETT Group departments or business units.

    1.2. Recipients:

    Students in CETT Vocational Training, Undergraduate Degrees or *Official Master's Degrees.

    1.3. Requirements:

    • Be enrolled in one of the official training programs at EHT or EUHT CETT-UB during the academic year for which the scholarship collaboration will take place and at the time the application is completed.
    • Not hold any academic degree equivalent to vocational training or undergraduate degrees.

    1.4. No. of Scholarships and Economic Assistance:

    Starting September 15 and throughout the year, the different application periods for COLLABORATION SCHOLARSHIPS linked to the different CETT Group departments and business units will be announced.

    At the time each of the scholarships is announced, the following information will be specified: Department offering the place, candidate requirements, conditions (length and schedule of collaboration), and the scholarship amount.

CETT Alumni Scholarship for the Final Degree Project in an International Company

  • Scholarship for the Final Degree Project in an International Company

    1.1. Purpose

    To promote Bachelor's Thesis projects (TFG) at EUHT CETT-UB that foster research, entrepreneurship, and real projects within the fields of tourism, hospitality, or gastronomy, aligned with one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the UN 2030 Agenda.

    1.2. Applicants

    Undergraduate students who are enrolled in all the credits required to complete the degree, including the Bachelor’s Thesis (TFG), and who wish to carry it out in a company/institution/public organisation located outside Spain and outside their country of residence (international placement).
     

    This must involve relocating to the host country for a minimum period of two months.

    1.3. Requirements

    • Be enrolled in the Bachelor’s Thesis (TFG) at the time of submitting the application.
    • Have an international company willing to host the TFG and a defined project (Career Services may support the search, but the final responsibility and obtaining the placement lies with the student).
    • Hold a B2 level of the language of the destination country.
    • Have the Bachelor’s Thesis proposal validated by the academic tutor.
    • Not have received any other CETT Foundation scholarship or CETT discount for the same academic year (except for early payment discounts).

    1.4. Number of Scholarships and Financial Allocation

    The total amount awarded in this call will not exceed €1,500.

    The following may be granted:

    • 1 scholarship for destinations outside Europe.
    • 2 scholarships for destinations within Europe.

    Amounts:

    • €1,500: Destinations outside Europe
    • €750: European destinations

    The scholarship will be paid by bank transfer once CETT receives the arrival certificate from the host company/institution/public organisation.

    1.5. Evaluation Criteria

    The following aspects will be considered for awarding the scholarships:

    • Alignment of the TFG with the major/specialisation of the Degree and with the selected company/institution/organisation, and its coherence with CETT’s strategic objectives.
    • Alignment with one of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda 2030).
    • Assessment of the academic record and previous practical experience (students must have completed at least two internship periods during their studies, curricular or extracurricular).
    • Assessment of the language level required by the destination country.
    • Interest and degree of professional motivation of the candidate.

    1.6. Required Documentation

    • Completed International Company Bachelor’s Thesis Scholarship Application Form.
    • Bachelor’s Thesis Proposal.
    • Contact details of the company tutor.
    • Updated CV.
    • Documentation detailing the internships completed during the degree.
    • Motivation video (max. 2 minutes) explaining:
      • How the TFG relates to the chosen major
      • Reasons for choosing the company/institution/public organisation and the destination country
      • Why the applicant deserves the scholarship
        Both the content and the delivery will be assessed.
    • Upon arrival: Arrival Certificate issued by the host company.

    1.7. Application Submission

    Applications must be submitted through the online form. (The form will be activated on the first day of the application period.)

    The Scholarship Committee may request additional information if needed.
    Applications lacking mandatory documentation will be automatically rejected.

    Application period: From 1 September to 30 October of the current academic year.

    1.8. Resolutio

    The Scholarship Committee (CETT Management, EU CETT-UB and Career Services) will notify applicants of the decision within 10 days after the end of the application period.

    If the applicant disagrees with the resolution, they may request a review via the CETT Virtual Campus (Career Services) within 15 days of the notification.
    Requests submitted after this period will not be accepted.
