Papers must deal with any of the Congress' topics of interest and will be evaluated anonymously by the members of the Scientific Committee. Those papers that are selected will be presented orally during the IV CETT Smart Tourism Congress Barcelona and will be published, along with the speeches, in a digital minutes book with ISBN.

All attending authors of the selected papers must be registered as attendees. In case of papers with different authors, at least one of them must attend to the congress. Non-attending authors will receive the Congress documentation, opportune certificates and proceedings.

The languages accepted at the Congress are English, Catalan and Spanish.

Please indicate if you would like to submit a paper to the Congress when registering as an attendee. Once you have registered,  you will be provided with a website where you can send in an abstract of your paper, using the platform Easychair. Once received, the abstracts will be evaluated for acceptance and the authors will be notified of the decision within the stipulated deadlines.

The abstract should have a maximum length of 4,000 characters. The content of the abstract must include which aspects you will discuss in your paper, including the introduction, objectives, methodology and results.

The authors of those papers that have been accepted must send the entire article to the Congress' email address: For writing the papers, the following template must be used.

Articles are going to be presented during the academic day (10th November) in parallel sessions and in Catalan, Spanish or English.

Update: The PowerPoint template is now available to prepare the presentations of the accepted communications
