Erasmus+ | The CETT Campus Hosts a Workshop of the European RESKILL Project
A workshop, part of the Reskill project, focused on the acquisition of green and digital skills for adults working in the tourism sector.
Reskill Revolution Project: Pioneering Change in Adult Education
The RESKILL project develops skills assessments, sustainability tools for SMEs, and micro-training modules in areas such as leadership, intrapreneurship, and transversal competencies. It also creates a training platform with resources for jobseekers, active professionals, and vulnerable groups, as well as a sustainable European network to ensure lasting impact in the tourism sector.
Workshop: “RESKILL Revolution for Adult Education”
In October, the Campus CETT hosted the workshop of the European project Reskill Revolution, an inclusive initiative made up of 8 partners and 15 affiliated entities with the aim of promoting a training ecosystem for adult education in tourism.
The project, part of the third key action of the Erasmus+ program, focuses on fostering green and digital skills, in line with European Union initiatives such as the Labour Shortage Action Plan and the European Skills Agenda. The workshop focused on identifying the most relevant soft and hard skills for the tourism, hospitality, and gastronomy sectors, using the EntreComp – European Entrepreneurship Competence Framework as a reference.
During the workshop, essential competencies for the green and digital transition were prioritized, and participants reflected on how to strengthen intrapreneurship, shared leadership, and other key organizational skills. Together with professionals and sector representatives, the group also analyzed the main environmental factors affecting the tourism ecosystem, based on a prior PESTEL analysis.
The results obtained will help define a sector skills map, which will serve as the basis for developing future training programs within the RESKILL project.
This activity, preceded by a first session held in Poland in September, was carried out with the participation of the CETT-UB academic community and the collaboration of several European associations and institutions, including Laurea University of Applied Sciences, Mesensei Oy, Klaipeda University of Lithuania, Kiel UAS Germany, WSG Poland, and Link University Campus Italy.
