CETT's Higher Technician in Culinary Management offers comprehensive training for young people with a vocation for gastronomy, combining traditional and avant-garde cuisine and patisserie with sustainability and innovation.
It includes 515 hours of internships in leading companies, professional skills development and business management in catering.
CETT's practical model integrates real practice in its own spaces such as restaurants and hotels, along with personalised tutorials and activities such as visits and conferences. It is ideal for future chefs, entrepreneurs or leaders in gastronomy.

Product presentations and tastings
Leading companies in the sector present and explain the production processes and products are tasted to learn about their characteristics and their application in the culinary and catering fields.
Demonstrations by sector professionals or benchmark chefs, sommeliers, maîtres and professionals offer demonstrations and share their knowledge to provide an insight into the profession and the latest trends in the sector.

Gastronomic event
Every year, we organise the ‘Trobada Gastronòmica’, a day of talks, lectures and demonstrations on a specific theme, with high-level collaborators from the world of cooking and gastronomy.
It is a link between companies and our students. Sponsored by the chef Carles Gaig, it has special and enriching contents, with the participation of gastronomy professionals such as Joan Roca, Fina Puigdevall, Nandu Jubany, Torres brothers, Ferran Centelles or Javier de las Muelas, among others.

CETT obtains the identification of Integrated Vocational Training Center (FPCAT Center), granted by the Public Agency for Vocational Training and Qualification of Catalonia.

CETT has been recognized in the 13th edition of the Plan of Innovation Measures in FP, for its outstanding project “Building Experiences: Projects with application challenges in real companies CETT in Catering and Cooking”.

Ton Zambrano, a second year student of the Higher Technician in Restaurant Service Management at CETT, has won first prize as best room manager in the 4th edition of the Josep Lladonosa Gastronomic Awards.

Núria Benages, Núria Esvertit and Rut Faura, students of the 2nd year of the Technician in Culinary Arts, Gastronomy, and Restaurant Services, participated from 22 to 24 April in the 23rd edition of the international gastronomic competition Bartolomeo Scappi.

Qualification you will obtain at the end of the course
Higher Technician in Culinary Management, Official qualification of the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

International internships: You can also do a professional internship in companies all over Europe once you have finished your studies.
Internships and jobs
During your studies you will do a period of 515 hours of work experience in the sector.
Thanks to the Career Services department team, you will be able to choose from among the more than 900 companies with which CETT has collaboration agreements.

- You will be able to do your internship in CETT's partner companies, in haute cuisine restaurants, in restaurant chains, in hotels or in catering companies, depending on your preferences.
- It aims to complement and consolidate your knowledge, skills and technical competences in real companies in the sector and in different types of companies.

- Thanks to these placements you will start your professional career in a working environment.
- Remember that you will also do your practical training in the centre's technical classrooms and practical training in the Forum Restaurant Classroom and in CETT's own companies.

Once the place has been reserved, the Academic Secretary will contact the student to arrange a date and time for the personal interview online.

The Academic Secretary's Office will contact the student to arrange a date and time to formalise enrolment and present the necessary documentation.
*Students who have reserved their place and do not enrol within this period will lose their place and the amount paid.
