Gastronomic event
Every year, we organise the "Trobada Gastronòmica", a day of talks, lectures and demonstrations on a specific theme, with high-level collaborators from the world of cooking and gastronomy.
It is a link between companies and our students. Sponsored by the chef Carles Gaig, it has special and enriching contents, with the participation of gastronomy professionals such as Joan Roca, Fina Puigdevall, Nandu Jubany, Torres brothers, Ferran Centelles or Javier de las Muelas, among others.

Official Qualifications in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Services, awarded by the Department of Education of the Government of Catalonia, and CETT-UB’s own diploma in Restaurant Pastry.

Internships and jobs
During your studies in the program, you will complete a 964-hour professional internship in the sector.
Thanks to the Career Services team, you can choose from over 900 companies with which CETT has collaboration agreements.

- Through hands-on tasks related to the curricular content that you will carry out in CETT’s 12 technical classrooms (Techno-Culinary Classroom, Sensory Space, Cooking Workshop, etc.).
- Through internships, you will have direct contact with the realities of the industry: over 964 hours in more than 900 collaborating companies of various types.

Through practical training, you will work in a real environment under supervision, across five applied business settings:
- Hotel Alimara: Featuring the Summum restaurant and various hotel catering services.
- Aula Restaurant: A gastronomic space managed by students.
- Ágora BCN: The catering service of our student residence.

After reserving your place, the Academic Office will contact you to schedule a date and time for the personal interview, which will be conducted online.

3- ENROLLMENT*
Deadline: End of July
The Academic Office will contact the student to schedule a date and time to complete enrollment and submit the required documentation.
*Students who have reserved a place but do not complete their enrollment within this period will lose their assigned place and the amount paid.
Once the enrollment period has ended, please check with the center for availability of remaining places.
Scholarships and funding
The scholarships available for this program include:
- Talent Scholarship for new students enrolling in vocational training programs in Culinary Arts, Restaurant Services, and undergraduate degrees.
- General scholarships for students in post-compulsory university-level education (Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sport).
