CETT's Higher Vocational Training in Culinary Management offers comprehensive training for young people with a passion for gastronomy, combining traditional and avant-garde cuisine, patisserie, sustainability and innovation.
It includes 515 hours of professional internships in leading companies, as well as training in professional skills and business management in the restaurant sector.
CETT's practical model combines hands-on training in CETT's own facilities, such as restaurants and hotels, with personalised tutorials and activities such as visits and conferences. It is ideal for future chefs, entrepreneurs or leaders in gastronomy.

Leading companies in the sector present and explain the production processes followed by product tastings to learn about their characteristics and applications in culinary and restaurant settings.

Trobada Gastronòmica
Every year, we organise the Trobada Gastronòmica, an event featuring presentations, talks and demonstrations centred around a specific theme, with leading figures from the world of cooking and gastronomy.
It connects companies with our students. With chef Carles Gaig as its patron, the event features special and enriching content, with the participation of gastronomy professionals such as Joan Roca, Fina Puigdevall, Nandu Jubany, the Torres brothers, Ferran Centelles and Javier de las Muelas, among others.

Awards and recognitions
CETT obtains the identification of Integrated Vocational Training Center (FPCAT Center), granted by the Public Agency for Vocational Training and Qualification of Catalonia.
CETT has been recognized in the 13th edition of the Plan of Innovation Measures in FP, for its outstanding project “Building Experiences: Projects with application challenges in real companies CETT in Catering and Cooking”.
Ton Zambrano, a second year student of the Higher Technician in Restaurant Service Management at CETT, has won first prize as best room manager in the 4th edition of the Josep Lladonosa Gastronomic Awards.
Núria Benages, Núria Esvertit and Rut Faura, students of the 2nd year of the Technician in Culinary Arts, Gastronomy, and Restaurant Services, participated in the 23rd edition of the international gastronomic competition Bartolomeo Scappi, held from 22 to 24 April.

Qualification you will obtain at the end of the course
Higher Technician in Culinary Management Official qualification of the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
If you complete the PFC and the FCT in a specific area, you can obtain a CETT specialization diploma:

International internships: you can also do a professional internship in companies all over Europe once you have finished your studies.
Internships and jobs
During your studies you will do a period of 515 hours of professional internships in the sector.
Thanks to the Career Services team, you will be able to choose from more than 1,000 companies with which CETT has collaboration agreements
- You will be able to complete your internship in CETT's partner companies, in haute cuisine restaurants, in restaurant chains, in hotels or in catering companies, depending on your preferences.
- The internship period aims to complement and consolidate your knowledge, skills and technical competences in real companies in the sector and across different types of organisations.
- Thanks to these placements you will start your professional career in a professional environment.
- Remember that you will also undertake practical training in the centre's technical classrooms and in real-world environments, such as the Aula Restaurant, Espai Fòrum and CETT's own companies.

Enrollment process step by step

1- PLACE RESERVATION
The place reservation must be formalised through the following page

Once the place has been reserved, the Academic Secretary's Office will contact the student to arrange a date and time for the personal interview online.

The Academic Secretary's Office will contact the student to arrange a date and time to formalise enrolment and present the necessary documentation.
*Students who have reserved their place and do not enrol within this period will lose their place and the amount paid.
Once the enrolment period is over, please consult the centre for availability of places at the centre.
Scholarships and funding
The scholarships available for this programme are:
- Talent Scholarship – new students in vocational training programmes in cookery and restaurant services and degree programmes.
- Talent Scholarship - new access for training courses in cookery and catering services and degrees.
- Students in post-compulsory education university level students (Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte).
