Scholarships for master's and postgraduate students

At CETT, we support academic excellence and talent development through scholarships for new students and for continuing postgraduate studies.

The New Access Talent Scholarships reward outstanding academic performance, while the CETT Student Scholarships provide support for continuing education, mobility, internships, and research.

Our goal is to ensure equal opportunities and foster professional growth in tourism, hospitality, and gastronomy.

Scholarships for new students of masters

  • Talent Scholarship for master’s programmes 2026/2027 for students with nationality from a european union or latin american country

    Talent Scholarship for postgraduate studies 2026/2027 (Graduates from the European Union or Latin America)

    1.1. Purpose

    To promote and recognize the academic excellence of students holding the nationality of a European Union or Latin American country who enroll in a CETT Master’s programme.

    1.2. Target Applicants

    University graduates with nationality from a European Union or Latin American country who are admitted to a CETT Master’s programme.

    1.3. Requirements

    Applicants must:

    • Hold nationality from a European Union or Latin American country.
    • Have a minimum average grade of 7.5 (or equivalent) in official undergraduate studies that grant access to the Master’s programme.
    • Be admitted to one of the Master’s programmes offered by EUHT CETT-UB for the academic year covered by this call.
    • Not be or have previously been a CETT student.
    • Not have been awarded any other CETT scholarship or discount for the 2026/2027 academic year.

    CETT scholarships and discounts are not cumulative. If an applicant meets the requirements for more than one scholarship or discount, the most beneficial one will be applied. Discounts for full payment or payment in two instalments are compatible with this scholarship.

    1.4. Financial Endowment

    The scholarship amount depends on the selected Master’s programme:

    A 2% withholding tax will be applied to the scholarship amount in accordance with Spanish Personal Income Tax Law 40/1998*.

    *According to Spanish Personal Income Tax Law (LIRPF), scholarships are considered employment income. Therefore, scholarships not covered by the exemption set out in Article 7.j) of the LIRPF (EDL 2006/298871) will be treated as employment income under Article 17.2.h) and will be subject to withholding tax. The withholding will be calculated according to the general procedure established in Articles 80 and following of the RIRPF.

    1.5. Evaluation Criteria

    The following aspects will be considered for the allocation of scholarships:

    • Academic record
    • Curriculum vitae
    • Motivation letter

    1.6. Required Documentation

    Applicants must upload the required documentation in the scholarship application form. Documents must be submitted in Catalan, Spanish, or English:

    • Certificate stating the average grade of the undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification granting access to the Master’s programme.
    • For studies completed abroad, an official equivalence of the average grade to the Spanish grading scale must be provided. This process must be completed through the Electronic Office of the Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades.
    • Updated curriculum vitae.
    • Motivation letter.

    CETT reserves the right to verify the accuracy of the submitted documentation and information at any time.

    1.7. Application Submission

    Applications must be submitted through the online application form.

    • Application period: from March 30 to September 30, 2026.
    • Applications submitted between July 23 and August 31 will be processed from September 8, 2026.

    Once the application has been submitted, the Scholarship Committee may request additional documentation or an online interview if deemed necessary.

    Incomplete, incorrect, or non-compliant documentation may result in the rejection of the application.

    1.8. Scholarship Resolution

    The Scholarship Committee, composed of CETT team members, will be responsible for evaluating the applications according to the criteria established in this call.

    Applications will be reviewed on a biweekly basis during the call period. Applicants will be individually notified of the scholarship decision by email within a maximum of 15 calendar days from the application submission date.

    Once the scholarship has been granted, the beneficiary will have 15 calendar days to pay the reservation fee for the programme in which they have been admitted.

    Tuition fees and University of Barcelona charges must be paid before the start of the academic year, according to the deadlines established by the university.

    The total scholarship amount, after deducting the applicable 2% withholding tax, will be applied either as a single payment or in instalments, depending on the payment method selected by the student.

Scholarships for CETT students for postgraduate studies

  • Scholarship for CETT Graduates and Diploma Holders

    Scholarship for Postgraduate Studies (Master’s Degrees, Postgraduate Programmes and University Extension Courses) 2026/2027 for CETT Graduates and Diploma Holders

    Convinced of the importance of education in the sector to face future challenges, we are launching these extraordinary scholarships aimed at CETT graduates and diploma holders.

    1.1. Purpose

    To facilitate the continuation of studies in the fields of tourism, hospitality and gastronomy for CETT graduates and diploma holders who demonstrate interest and capability in both academic and professional areas.

    1.2. Recipients

    CETT graduates and diploma holders.

    1.3. Requirements

    • To be admitted to one of the master’s degrees, postgraduate programmes or university extension courses offered by EUHT CETT-UB.
    • To access these scholarships, applicants must be part of CETT Alumni Premium. Check here how to join.
    • Not to have been awarded any other CETT scholarship or discount for the same academic year.

    A 2% withholding tax will be applied to the scholarship amount in accordance with Law 40/1998 on Personal Income Tax (IRPF)*.

    *The Personal Income Tax Law (LIRPF) classifies scholarships as employment income. Therefore, scholarships not covered by the exemption set out in Article 7.j) of the LIRPF (EDL 2006/298871) will be considered employment income, in accordance with Article 17.2.h) of the LIRPF, and as such will be subject to withholding tax on account of IRPF. The withholding amount will be calculated according to the general procedure established in Articles 80 and subsequent articles of the IRPF Regulations.

    1.5. Assessment Criteria for Awarding Scholarships

    For the allocation of the scholarships, the following aspects will be considered:

    • academic record
    • curriculum vitae
    • motivation letter

    1.6. Required documents

    • The documentation required to apply for this scholarship is as follows:
    • The student’s academic record, which will be incorporated ex officio by the Academic Secretariat.
    • Updated curriculum vitae.
    • Motivation letter.

    1.7. Applications deadlines and documents

    Applications must be submitted through this online form.

    *The application period will run from 30 March to 30 September 2026.

    *Applications submitted between 23 July and 31 August will be processed from 8 September 2026.

    Failure to provide the required documentation may result in the rejection of the scholarship application.

    1.8. Resolution

    The Scholarship Committee, composed of members of the CETT team, will be responsible for evaluating the applications in accordance with the criteria established in this call.

    Applications will be reviewed on a biweekly basis during the call period. The resolution of the scholarship will be communicated individually to applicants by email within a maximum period of 15 calendar days from the date of submission.

    Tuition fees and University of Barcelona charges must be paid before the start of the academic year, in accordance with the deadlines established by the university.

    The total scholarship amount, once the corresponding 2% tax withholding has been deducted in accordance with current tax regulations, will be applied to the single payment or to the instalments, depending on the payment method chosen by the student.

  • Collaboration Scholarship for Intership and research

    Course 2026/2027

    1.1. Purpose:

    To facilitate access to tourism training to CETT students in any of the official degree programs (vocational, undergraduate, and master's degrees) by allowing them to collaborate in the different CETT Group departments or business units.

    1.2. Recipients:

    Students in CETT Vocational Training, Undergraduate Degrees or *Official Master's Degrees.

    1.3. Requirements:

    • Be enrolled in one of the official training programs at EHT or EUHT CETT-UB during the academic year for which the scholarship collaboration will take place and at the time the application is completed.
    • Not hold any academic degree equivalent to vocational training or undergraduate degrees.

    1.4. No. of Scholarships and Economic Assistance:

    Starting September 15 and throughout the year, the different application periods for COLLABORATION SCHOLARSHIPS linked to the different CETT Group departments and business units will be announced.

    At the time each of the scholarships is announced, the following information will be specified: Department offering the place, candidate requirements, conditions (length and schedule of collaboration), and the scholarship amount.
