Because we understand the challenges of living in a new environment, the CETT-UB Campus offers the International Relations Office (ORI) — a dedicated area that provides guidance, advice, and support to international students enrolled in master’s programs.
The team at ORI will provide you with relevant information regarding logistical aspects of life in Barcelona, such as city registration (empadronamiento), the process for obtaining a Foreign Identification Number (NIE), and finding accommodation in the city.
Procedures Related to Your Academic Stay
The ORI team will offer updated information about the necessary procedures once you arrive in Barcelona, guiding you through essential documents such as your NIE, municipal registration, and university ID card.
Languages
If Spanish is not your native language, the ORI team will give you advice on how and where to learn it. They will also guide you on learning Catalan, which will help you integrate more easily into daily life in the city.
In addition, you can improve your Spanish through the certified courses offered by the CETT-UB Language Department. If you prefer to practice any language informally, you can join our free language exchange program with other CETT-UB students.
