Food Culture and Culinary Arts in the Mediterranean has been specially designed in English for international students. Its content has been inspired by and in part extracted from our Bachelor's Degree in Culinary and Gastronomic Sciences, an interuniversity degree (UB-UPC) that is the first of its kind in Spain, and which finally brings this art into the realm of academia to further advance knowledge and research in this field. The foundation of the program lies in its strong emphasis in hands-on learning. We wanted our international students to walk away from CETT-UB, from Barcelona and from the Mediterranean with a real practical and visual memory of the knowledge acquired in class.
