Objectives

  • Through a comprehensive vision, develop the professional skills needed for Urban and Tourism management that are applicable to destinations that are likely to be models for the design of effective leisure and Tourism management practices.
  • Provide students with the skills needed to use analysis methods and instruments, as well as urban planning and management tools in Tourism destinations.
  • Describe interpretive models of Urban Tourism, analyzing localization conditions, Tourism flows, the impact created by Tourism, mobility problems and analyze promotion strategies, among other aspects.
  • Familiarize students with knowledge of the scientific method so they can correctly apply research tools.
