Entrepreneurship Day | CETT Fundació fosters emerging talent in tourism, hospitality, and gastronomy
The Entrepreneurship Day recognizes and promotes the most innovative projects in the fields of tourism, hospitality, and gastronomy.
On November 20th, the CETT Fundació will hold its traditional Entrepreneurship Day at the Hotel Alimara, located on the CETT Campus. This event recognizes and promotes the most innovative projects in the fields of tourism, hospitality, and gastronomy.
This edition holds special significance for the CETT community, as it coincides with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the CETT Fundació. It reaffirms the Foundation’s commitment to innovation, young talent, and the entrepreneurial spirit that reflects the institution’s values and contributes to the development of a more innovative and responsible sector.
Entrepreneurship Day 2025: a new format
The CETT Foundation presents a new edition of the Entrepreneurship Day with a renewed, dynamic, and inspiring format. Until now, the winning projects were announced directly during the event. This year, however, the finalists will present their projects live before the jury and the attending audience in a session of in-person pitches.
In this new format, the winning projects will be decided during the event after the jury’s deliberation. It will be a unique opportunity to experience entrepreneurship in real time, featuring a motivational talk by Mr. Manuel Ortiz Paredes, CEO of SEPTEO, a leading European software company. His talk will reflect on technology and entrepreneurship as driving forces of change in the tourism and gastronomy sectors.
The audience will also play an active role, as attendees will be able to vote live for their favorite project and presentation, contributing to the Audience Award. At the end of the pitches, the prizes will be awarded to the three winning projects and the audience-selected project. Finally, the event will conclude with a networking space designed to foster connections among students, alumni, professionals, and entrepreneurs who share the desire to transform the future of the industry.
