Twintual, Your Friends Are Boring, and InRoom: Winning Projects of the 2025 CETT Fundació “Entrepreneurship Day”
The Entrepreneurship Day is CETT’s annual event that recognizes and promotes the most innovative entrepreneurial projects in the fields of tourism, hospitality, and gastronomy.
CETT Fundació, in collaboration with the Diputació de Barcelona, held a new edition of “Entrepreneurship Day” with a renewed, dynamic, and inspiring format. On this occasion, the winning projects were:
First Prize
- Twintual: An AI-based personal assistant that helps manage communications, tasks, and schedules.
Second Prize
- Your Friends Are Boring: Organizes group trips led by micro-influencers to connect people with shared interests.
Third Prize
- InRoom: A virtual assistant that automates guest services after check-in and throughout their stay.
Following the presentation of the 7 finalist projects, the winning projects were selected during the event after deliberation by a professional jury, while the audience award was chosen by attendees. The event offered a networking space for students, alumni, professionals, and the academic community, and featured a keynote speech by Mr. Manuel Ortiz Paredes, CEO of SEPTEO, a leading software company in Europe, who stated:
“In uncertain environments, what makes the difference is entrepreneurial attitude, leadership, and vision. Having a purpose and knowing how to communicate the what and the why.”
He also reminded attendees that “when we talk about digital transformation, the focus should be on the transformation, because that’s where people are, and people are the foundation. Let’s focus on using technology as a tool and not as an end, because to innovate, the key is not to focus on the technology itself: it’s knowing how to use it.”
