The Alimara Awards Night returns in 2025 as one of the most important events in the tourism, hospitality and gastronomy sectors. This annual gathering celebrates the most innovative, transformative and inspiring initiatives, highlighting projects that set trends and contribute to a more creative, sustainable and technologically driven tourism model.
The gala, held at the Hotel Alimara Barcelona, will bring together professionals, companies, institutions, students and academics for a unique evening designed to celebrate talent, share knowledge and showcase best practices in communication, marketing and tourism innovation.
Categories that shape the future of the sector
The Alimara Awards recognize projects that stand out in six major areas that drive the transformation of tourism:
| Through Audiovisual | Marketing strategies and actions where audiovisual content plays a central role in brand positioning, product promotion or destination marketing. |
| Through Digitalization | Initiatives that highlight the digital transformation of organisations, improving competitiveness, efficiency and the overall user experience through innovative technological solutions. |
| Through Sustainability | Projects that demonstrate a true commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility. This award is presented in collaboration with UN Tourism. |
| Through Research | Recognition of applied research —academic, corporate or public— that addresses current challenges and generates valuable insights for the tourism sector. |
| Alimara CAT | It is open to all organisations, whether based in Catalan-speaking regions or not, as long as they incorporate Catalan in a strategic, respectful and high-quality manner. This category is awarded together with the Government of Catalonia. |
| Through Experiences | Projects that create emotional and inspiring experiences through creativity and technology —such as videomapping, augmented reality or immersive environments— enhancing visitor engagement and storytelling. |
