Discover the Winners of the CETT Research Project Awards

The CETT Foundation Awards for Best High School Research Projects recognize and promote academic excellence in the fields of hospitality, gastronomy, and tourism.
CETT Fundació, in its ongoing commitment to promoting research, knowledge in tourism, hospitality, and gastronomy, and academic excellence, rewards the best high school research projects (TDR) in Catalonia that explore these fields and other related areas.
This year, over 40 applications were submitted, and 9 finalists and 3 winners were selected.
First prize: Study of Sugar Content in Foods Found in Children’s Diets
- Dinara Bacardit Livez, from Institut Lluís de Peguera (Manresa)
The jury highlights the relevance and suitability of the topic, the breadth of the research and techniques used, as well as a clear, rigorous defense with well-reasoned answers to the jury's questions. Dinara will begin the CETT-UB Bachelor's Degree in Culinary and Gastronomic Sciences next academic year.
Segundo premio: Behind the stars: The impact of online reviews on hotel revenue
- Aina James Isern, from La Salle Manlleu
The jury highlights the use and analysis of relevant information within a solid methodology, as well as a highly professional presentation and strong communication skills.
Third prize: Exploring Molecular Gastronomy
- Lucía Sánchez Garcia, from Col·legi Sant Josep de Reus
The jury emphasizes the passion, skill, and precision of the practical work completed, showing a clear vocation and interest in the field of gastronomy, along with a remarkable oral presentation and strong visual content to communicate the project.
