What is Gastrorecup?

Gastrorecup is an initiative designed to raise awareness about food waste through gastronomy. Each edition brings together restaurants, hospitality schools and industry professionals to demonstrate that food discarded due to aesthetic reasons or surplus production can be transformed into high-quality culinary creations.

A Surprise Gastronomic Experience

Guests will enjoy a surprise menu prepared with recovered food that is perfectly safe for consumption. Following the Gastrorecup philosophy, the menu will remain undisclosed until service begins, highlighting culinary creativity and the value of sustainable cooking.

CETT's Commitment to Sustainability

The participation of CETT Aula Restaurant in Gastrorecup reinforces the institution's commitment to sustainability and to educating future professionals who are aware of the environmental and food-related challenges facing the gastronomy sector. Through initiatives like this one, students gain first-hand experience of how innovation and creativity can help reduce food waste.
